Rumors are already out that the next generation Super Duty will be clad in aluminum like it's sibling the F-150.
I'm curious to the rumors of going back to the traditional style of rear fenders on the DRW.

Lots of spy photos out already, but, this set of pics gives a new meaning to testing and evaluating.

If you go on line you will see the test vehicle go up in flames. There is nothing left but the frame. Guess Ford didn`t have a better idea on this one.

I would love love love to go back to the original style DRW fenders. I have stayed away from the DRW because of the newer fender style. I just can't like them.

I also liked the 2003 and earlier stock rims much better as well.

I like the new f350 fenders as it does not look like everything else out there. I also liked the older 5 pt star rims that you are talking about.

I like them because they are more practical. Easier to reach in the box from the side. One reason I like a SRW truck.

The bubble does make it easier to reach in the box, and the Bully Step will work as well, even though their site says it will not. But, I still think it looks like a - well I'm not going there on a public forum, but some country singer did.

The rounded edges look more modern then the old squared off design, but I'm not sure if I would like it to look like the Ram or GM either.

I've been told that these testing rigs are just that, thrown together to test idea's and definitely not a production truck, therefore lots of cutting and splicing of wire's etc to attach testing equipment - chance of something going wrong like a fire are really great. They all do it and it could happen to any of them.
