75 degrees in Foley right now, awaiting some thunder storms.
Foley is one of the fastest growing cities in Alabama, building all over the place.
We won’t make the Rally, leaving in 13 days, been here for 3 months now.
We love this area, that’s why we Winter here.

We are soooo disappointed. It looks like we will have to cancel our plans to be in AL. Henry is having surgery and won't be able to travel until late May.

We are hoping to be able to make the trip to Goshen but not sure at this point.

See you all this summer.

We're looking forward to visiting with old friends still living in the Foley/ Fairhope / Mobile area (we once lived directly on the bay, along Mobiles Western Shore - Hollingers Island).

So sorry to miss this rally! There are family issues in Cocoa Beach, Fl that we have to tend to. We've already been there twice since Feb. and will have to go again April 14. My Dad is now in an assisted living facility on Merritt Island and I'm the POA to take of "things" at the house, his needs, etc....so most of the summer will be back and forth. The house is getting the roof replaced and we have to oversee that project as well as others.

We love Anchors Aweigh.
The nice thing about AA is the park owners are local people who work in the park most every day, and the nicest people in the world.
This park is reasonable on the rate, $635 per month next year, plus electric.
We are 2 blocks from Lowe’s, Home Depot, Lambert’s, mile from Walmart.
The traffic on A-59 is no problem, although it has increased significantly in the 9 years we have Wintered in L.A.
They always have a waiting list for the next year, but most people get in.
We have some friends going into Condo’s next year and other friends bailing out of Island Retreat RV park, and coming to AA.
We thought about Sugar Sands when they first opened, but we stayed at Island Retreat at the time.
We came to Anchors Aweigh 4 years ago, and love it here.
A few new parks opened this year, and we always check them out, but always stay put.

Always been very happy with Anchors Aweigh. Our new go to (since the Elks Lodge CC closed) for the spring and the fall. Good location, facilities.

Hi Everyone,

I regret that I had to cancel our stay. Kathy is flying to AZ to accompany her mother back to WI. I will need to head home.

Look forward to seeing everyone at a future rally.

Enjoy,

Doug Jarmusz
