Well, we made it, but backed up in traffic on I-96 East of Grand Rapids, from 2 lanes down to 1 lane for 10 miles & 55 minutes for road work, or lack there of.
Big road sign said, “Left lane closed 9 miles ahead”, and that was where the backup started.
When we arrived at the site of road repair, there was about a 10’ x 10’ piece of Concrete removed from the road and not a person in site, equipment there, but no people.
Summer in Michigan
We are on site #44 backed up to river, what a view.

Hello everyone, This will be our first Heartland Rally. Bought our 2018 Heartland Sundance 221RB in October, 2018. On our maiden voyage at Steamboat, and that is when we found out about the Heartland Owners Club and the 2019 Rally at Steamboat. Looking forward to meeting everyone. We aren't able to arrive until Thursday evening so will miss the Riverboat Cruise....enjoy....we have enjoyed it a few times...Dusty Chaps is great! We will be at site 63. See everyone on Thursday night! Andy and Mary Dietrich

The rally was the best, and where did you find this perfect weather. Rally and the Heartlands (ok them SOBs too 😂 ) was so much fun.
