Thanks Bill,
I'll add it to my list. We're going to sort of wing it this summer. I've had good luck with Good Sam, but I know they don't have 'em all.

Bill is that an "apple app" or an "android app" ? I see different apps on either. Is that the $9.99 one ? Sounds like the Apple app KS the better one.

If you have a GPS, there is a website called "POI Factory" ( http://www.poi-factory.com ) that has all sorts of lists of Points Of Interest to add to your GPS system. One of these is a list of 22,876 North American Campgrounds. Here is a shortcut to all of their different campgrounds topic listings: http://www.poi-factory.com/taxonomy/term/35

I also have downloaded lists like All Walmarts; Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives TV show locations, etc.

These lists when called up on your GPS show a list of the locations nearest to where you are, and you can get driving directions to those locations.

We use RV Parky, ParkAdvisor, The Dyrt and FreeRoam all of them are Android apps and free to use. My favorite is probably RV Parky though.

RV Parky gets my vote. It does just about everything. But you have to learn to use it and you have to us the filter. It has lot of useful information. And like Joe Namath says, it’s FREE.

And it does work with IOS operating systems.

https://www.campgroundreviews.com — not an app, but a very comprehensive website.

But we plan all travel before, not while on the road.

We also use this one - excellent site. One of the things I like about this site is it allows you to view a reviewer's history... so that if there's a really bad review, you can see if the person gives all sites a bad review. I find that there's always one person who hates a campground for some reason.
