Need to know where to get 12VDC power for a Wingard Connect 2.0 WF2-355 wifi extender on a Big Horn 3370 el.

Well. if the current draw is small, you could access the 12 volt light in the docking center. A couple of screws will give you access to the bottom of the light and the 12 volt wiring. A 12 volt polarized connector and an inline fuse should safely complete the modification.

The exposed pin on the voltage source (lamp) side should be the black grounded pin.

That’s similar to what I was thinking or you could drill a small hole and fish it thru to the battery compartment and come off the battery with a fused link.

Good suggestion!

Almost crawled into the front compartment where the batteries are located looking for an easy tap-on spot and finally noticed the terminals on one battery had enought threads to allow nuts to be screwed on to hold wire lugs. Ordered an inline fuse holder and will put that on the "+" terminal and put the other wire from the Winegard on the "-" terminal. Should be a clean hook-up. There are slots in the floor where the wires can be pulled through to the outside. (There is an in-line off/on switch on the Winegard supply line.)

Once again members of this forum have come to my rescue, thank you!

You'll want to add an inline fuse.
