Removing stationary part of door slider

I have a 22RBK North Trail with a clear door slider. Both the stationary piece and the slider are broken and I cannot figure out how to remove the stationary part. There is no center piece to the door, and the stationary piece seems to glued into the grooves.

Look at how the cross pieces above and below are mounted with screws from the edges of the door. I think you can loosen or remove 1 or 2 screws to remove the broken plastic.

Are you sure you can get parts for this repair? We had an issue with ours years ago, and we were told by the dealer that we had to replace the entire door assembly because parts weren't available separately.

I second Dan's suggestion. The screws on the 2 long sides of the screen door hold it all together.

I've disassembled many of these doors - though none with your taller slider. I like to remove the door from the main entry space and do the work on a picnic table if at a CG.
