Please join us for the annual Louisiana Owners Club Rally, this year we are moving to a new park in North Central Louisiana on the shores of the Red River in historic Natchitoches Louisiana. We have decided to move this year as this is a great park and there are a lot of neat things to see in do in this part of the state while still being convienent to I 49 which means you can reach us via I 10 or I 20 from wherever your travels will be bringing you in from. We will also have access to a kitchen and rally hall that are brand new. This is a new park and we have reserved 25 of the 59 sites to start with, we can fill it up if space permits but any sites not taken by 3/1 will be returned back to the park and it will be a first come first serve at that point to get into the park so if you are planning on coming please make your reservations early. The site is $40 but there is a Good Sam Discount that they will give you if you ask for it. We will be having a pot luck on Saturday and possibly a breakfast pot luck if Frank will be there to run it for us. And for those of you that need a place to practice with your handguns there is a public shooting range that you will pass just before you get to the RV Park.

Please let me know when you make your reservation and I will get you added to the list along with your site number.

We're in Andy.

Awesome was beginning to wonder if Jo and I were gonna be lonely or not.

BTW you and Mrs Stella need to watch Steel Magnolias before y’all head out to this rally lol.

Forgot to ask what site y’all are in...

I'll get back to you with the dates but you can count on Debbie and I making it. I like the area there and am getting a little tired(and Broke) of the Casinos.lol Kyle, it's early, but you can bet there will be 25 rigs or batter. Hope to see you there. I guess that means the Breakfast Extravaganza is on again for Friday morning. Later and have a great day. Now if we can get Ted and Dee to bring the other half of 'Margaritaville', the party is on.

Hey Kyle go ahead and get signed up for the club, it is free now. Let me know when you do. By doing so the only cost to attend this rally is what your site costs you. Club sponsors main dish for Saturday potluck and everyone else brings a dish to share. As far as numbers we usually have any where between 15 and 35 rigs show up depending on travel plans for most. We do have a group that hits all the south central region rallies ours included.

Let me know if you have any other questions and when you make your reservation for this rally. And don’t let Baker scare you, his bark is worse than his bite.

Btw we have a couple active members in your area. One in central that has a cyclone and one down in plaquemine that has a gateway (he is a fire fighter for st George).

Thanks. I may have already spoken with the ones from plaquemine. Abear something or other. She gave us some great ideas on spots. I saw you were in lake Charles, I have a little history there. Was born at lane memorial, dad worked at Citgo many years ago. But more recently my family has fallen in love with it again. We go to millinium park, or as my family dubbed it "pirate ship park" and the children's museum downtown. Last year we happened to be there on he contraband weekend. So we got to do the fair. We also had our first ever tent camping that got us hooked on this stuff at Sam Houston Jones. Long babble, sorry. I just filled out the application for club membership. Not sure about the rally but enjoying the forum so far! We actually almost booked at the same place of the coming rally for Christmas this year.

Yep that is who I was talking about. Good deal. I used to be on the Board of Directors for that festival but after serving as president that year and past president this year I dropped off. We actually live in our BC in westlake just south of Sam Houston Jones, great little park.

Good deal on signing up, Julie will get it processed and send you your membership number in next couple days. Hope you can make it next March. Also next time you are in the area let me know and we can meet for a meal or something.

Andy, I was going to tell you that I had talked to Frank this morning about our spring 2019 RV travels and that we were planing on using your Natchitoches rally as our "jumping off" point, but I see he was more excited about it than me and beat me to it. Put me and Dolly on the list and I will get with the rest of the Unacceptables and decide what dates to give you the pleasure of our company. It'll be fun.

Andy, I'm sure Peggy and I will be there. We are just wrapping up our three month marathon journey and Lin, Debbie, Dave, and Nancy, so I will figure out the dates in a week or two once we get caught up.

We made reservations thru Pat this morning, arriving on 27 March 2019, departing on 1 April 2019
We are on site 33.
We spend the Winter in Foley, Alabama at Anchors Aweigh RR Resort and plan on heading to Rogers, Arkansas to see my Step-Son, so this Rally is right on our way.
Looking forward to this stop in Louisiana.

We will be heading North on I-49 getting off at Exit 138 for Hwy 6 then heading to Tauzin Island Rd and the RV Park.
I would appreciate any advice on coming into the RV park, best route to take, etc.
I don’t want to be somewhere I shouldn’t be with a 41’ 5th wheel.

Thank’s for your advice and help ahead of time.
