Considering a 2013 HL NT 32BUDS Caliber Edition

Thanks! Got that leak fixed, just had to replace the connector - thankful it was a quick fix and easy to locate. We are headed out tomorrow for a few days at a local CG on a shakedown/get organized run and I'll keep an eye on that city water connector just in case.

Considering a 2013 HL NT 32BUDS Caliber Edition

Already noticed 1 thing I didn't catch on PDI ...we have a leak! didn't notice it until we found wet carpet last night. I did catch the outside shower on PDI (it wasn't attached). I traced it to the cold water faucet in the outdoor kitchen but haven't determined yet if it is the twist connector...

Seen a lot of folks mention that on their rigs and figured I'd better check on the PDI - good thing to because as I unraveled the outside shower hose the whole thing came out, it wasn't even connected, lol

Considering a 2013 HL NT 32BUDS Caliber Edition

Well... we are pulling the trigger. It is in right now getting readied and a few of the things fixed I noticed on our test-drive. We go to PDI and pick up tomorrow at 1pm, Merry Christmas to us! I must admit, the community here and the information available on this forum did play a part in our...

Considering a 2013 HL NT 32BUDS Caliber Edition

Appreciate the info everyone. The ladder is less important to me (I actually prefer the collapsable ladder as well) than the structural integrity to actually support a ladder and some limited walking on the roof. Since I had seen earlier models (the ones I saw may have been self installed?) with...

    Federal Parks Access Pass

Great point. Some states don't have their own programs and will honor the federal ones. Some states do though and I posted about the California one in another thread... similar to the Federal one but ...100% off instead of 50%. That is for the disabled veteran pass anyhow... for some of us that...

    Pull out bumper rack

Bob& Patty, thanks for the info! I hope to seal the deal soon and we'll have to get into to SoCal Chapter! I'll have enough room in the bed of my Ram to put the genset in there but hadn't given much thought to just leaving it in there... sounds like that may be the ticket and just use a long...

    Federal Parks Access Pass

Here is the information on the Federal Parks access pass I mentioned. 50% discount on any Federal park reservation isn't to shabby. From http://www.nps.gov/findapark/passes.htm POW, CMoH, or 50% or greater service connected disability qualify for this pass. This pass is recognized when...

California State Veterans Benefits - State Parks and Rec Pass

Re: California State Veterans Bennefits - State Parks and Rec Pass Hi Jim, Yea, as it is a state bennefit it applies to all state parks and recreation areas. Other states offer similar programs on their own. There is a Federal program for all fed campgrounds and rec areas, I have that one as...

California State Veterans Benefits - State Parks and Rec Pass

I dug through these forums and didn't see this info anywhere, sorry of it is a repost. ;) There are a lot of things I dislike about California but this isn't one of them! You must be a California resident and either 1) POW status, 2) CMoH recepient, or 3) 50% or greater service connected...

    Pull out bumper rack

Good info, thanks! That is correct, not sure if they moved it back there for all 2013s, just the ones with the pull outs, or what ...but it is back there. I would actually prefer it under the tongue so I can take full advantage of the 200lb limit of the rack and would consider relocating it...

    Pull out bumper rack

Hi all, Considering a NT 32BUDS that has the pull out bumper rack. This looks like a GREAT feature and I had a question about it. I noticed that there is a sticker on the rack that indicates a 200lb load rating (including the spare tire attached to it). I also noticed that it is lined with a...
