The thermostat in the bedroom only controls the bedroom AC. Any and all heat is controlled by the thermostat in the living area. Have you tried cranking that thermostat way up to see if it turns on?

Dan’s suggestion sounds exactly like what happened to us. First an annoying rattle then, as more vanes failed, a very disturbing vibration that eventually was able to shake the whole rig. These squirrel cages are plastic and the missing vanes on my old one can be easily seen.

Both fronts and one outer on my ‘17 were leaking when I took it to the dealer 3 months ago. The tech “rebuilt” the valves on all 4 aluminum rims and they’ve been great ever since.
