It is a great trip. We just moved back to Missouri from living in Alaska for 8 years. Many times the frost heaves will be marked by little orange flags on the side of the road. Just be sure and be careful over those and slow down on the gravel stretches.
Also, we have found the people along...
We currently have a Big Horn 3400RE and like the Landmarks for the future. Our garage will not hold anything longer that our current 5th wheel, so a shorter floor plan would be great.
So sorry to hear of your family's loss. I lost my dad two and a half years ago. It does get easier but I miss him daily. Remember the good times. God Bless.
We had a great time and enjoyed meeting everyone. Hope you all have safe travels back home and hope to see you all again. I second the thanks to Mike and Daphna for all your hard work in organizing the rally.
That is such a sweet picture. My husband retired in Feb after 20 years in the Air Force. While we were fortunate enough that he did not have to deploy during this Persian Gulf war, he did have to leave us a few times over the years. Thank you for the thanks. It is a tough but rewarding life...
Yesterday, Oct 7, we saw a Big Horn on the road between Ozark, MO and Branson. We weren't towing ours at the time as we live in this area, but we wanted to say hello.
Ok, just got off the phone with Michelle and we are registered for the rally. We will get there the 16th and leave the 18th.
See you all there.

CrazyScotsman,
We are finally in Missouri and we also decided to go with the 24,000 tags, especially when the lady at the license bureau said the fine is $1 per pound that you are overweight if you get pulled over.
We passed a Big Horn yesterday, May 31st near the Little Bighorn Battlefield and then today we saw one heading west on I-90 between Mitchell and Sioux Falls, S.D.
We were in a Silver Dodge Megacab and a SUV pulling a car on a trailer. We just wanted to say hello. :)
We pull a BH 3400RE with an 08 Megacab 3500 and it does great. We did get a slider hitch for "just in case" situations. Have only worried about it once and probably didn't need it then.
