Re: a little help please
I just pour it full strength into the garden hose. Hook it up and let it fill the system. Run both sinks and the shower for a minute, let stand a beer to two and flush it out. When flushed I put 3 oz of lemon juice in the hose and fill up the city lines, run sinks...
The axles have stickers on the rear of the tubes. Get on your hands and knees and look for such. Our 5200 lb stickers are still on tubes after 12k miles or so. No winter driving, well not much anyway. We upgraded the wheels and tires to BFG LT rib tread and she rides oh so much better.

We upgraded our rims and tires on our Cyclone. Went to 16" (which it should have had on it from the factory) Commercial T/A BFG rib tires. 157 at Sams club. Gave us more than enough on our tri axle set up.
Took em with us to the Outer Banks, 70mph 90 degrees, all stayed within 2 degrees of one...
Your are 100% correct. I just spent 545.00 on Rims and 1200.00 on new tires to put 16" on our 4012! NHTSA is useless! Filed, filed and filed.... we will go another route once we get the paperwork on the whole assembly as
I'm picking up the mounted (and balanced) LT 245/85/16" ribbed tires...
Check to see if you have weep holes drilled in the bottom of the doors! The doors (some) were designed to allow water to flow through them top to bottom. We had a rig that had holes in the top none in the bottom... poured all the way to Florida. Thus the doors filled up and the water came in...
We tow our 4012 with an 06 SRW F 350 4x4 with air bags, But air pressure and being aware
of your surroundings is a must. I drive a semi for a living thus its no big deal to be at 27K truck & trailer, 4 quads, full of fuel, (both truck and 5th wheel)
Have fun...
Any ideas on securing the black plastic to the underside? Our 07 4012 is hanging low in the middle..... noticed when I was measuring for the new 16" rims and tires.
Re: Tire swap
Since your in Indiana where did you get them? We are in the Fort and I need to do the same. The comparison shot tells it all with the 16 vs 15.... wow.
Hey Porthole, We have been told by service techs to never haul more than 1/4 tank of fresh water as it is not designed to be full going down the road and rupture will eventually happen. This all started when we were in a shop and I asked why they were replacing a water tank in a toy box... they...
Re: Shackles breaking
I figured out to balance the tires after I was too tired to drive... got the combo on a staight road and let the little women drive while I took a snooze in the 5er. Wow what a racket from the kitchen (middle kitchen) .... I got to sleep but balanced the rubber the...
Anybody else got the new label in accordance to the National Traffic and Motor Safety Act for their Cyclone? It reduces the weight rating on each axle by 80lbs thus reducing the weight in your garage by 360lbs.... the weight of a 250cc ATV.... We are at 15,500 lbs loaded no liquid on our axles...
I agree totally on Heartland needs to pony up some monies for the cost of 6 16" tires and rims! We load ours to the max to Michigan every month or so and this is not good. I bought the rig on the premise of it being able to handle the posted weight. Maybe a small claims or class action.... This...
Also when you run the bleach out of the fresh tank, simply put some lemon juice in with the fresh water to neutralize the bleach... couple of oz's works. If you over do it, you simply have built in lemon water.
