    2011 Elkridge jack repair.

You have to know how these things work. There is a central jack screw that turns to raise and lower the legs. There is a large captured nut down in the unit that the jack screw turns in. This captured nut will raise or lower the inner leg as the screw turns in it. This nut will eventually seize...

    Does this slide look right?

To me, it does not look right. It appears like the bottom could be extended more. Like the others have said, check the sealing of the sides against the inside. My slide outside walls are parallel with the trailer sides. The roof is angled down a bit.

Do all the legs on the Lippert Auto-Level hydraulic system make ground contact?

Yes, it normal. However, it's not good. To fix the issue, lower the middle and rear legs a couple bolt holes. Lippert has a spec as to the minimum height from the ground to the bottom of the foot. I did this this mine. The middle and rear legs have a shorter throw than the front legs. When...

Bedroom slide leaks when it rains

You did not say where the water is coming in at. Check the top where the roof cover meets the inside fascia as It is not sealed there.

    EZ Connect electrical truck/RV connection

Yes, I have and use this connector. I like it a lot. It is very easy to change over from your existing plug. Yes, I was one of those guys who forgot to disconnect the plug when unhooking ( after having installed this thing ). Perfect. It disconnected just like advertised. The magnet in the truck...

    Milestone 386bh vacuum breaker

That device is not necessary to the system as a whole. Just bypass it and take it out of the system.

Why the concern for 3rd A/C?

Yes, this is the trick. Add soft starts.

    Broken spring hanger

I would put them on the front hangers and the equalizer hangers also. There is a video out that shows just how much all of these hangers flex going down the road.

    How much grease

Obviously, everyone has their own opinion on this. The spindle takes up some of the space between the bearings but there is still a fair about of volume that need to be filled with grease if you use the easy lube method for the first time. My suggestion would be to hand pack the bearings for the...

AC wont cool down the unit

Adding a second AC may not be that simple. I am not familiar with the electrical system in your unit but it may only be 30 amp. If it is, the only way to add a second AC is to add a soft start system to "both" AC units.

    Black tank flush

This atmospheric check valve is totally unnecessary. To remedy the situation, just bypass the valve completely and this will fix the problem for good. My check valve did not work from day one and I did this. From the basement, you can see the pipes going into the wall and coming back down and...

    Bighorn landing gear problem

The legs are constructed with an inner leg and an outer leg. The screw that raises and lowers the unit (jack screw) is in the middle of it all. There is a captured nut that the jack screw turns in. This is what needs to get greased. To accomplish this, raise the legs to their full height and...

    Bighorn landing gear problem

I would replace the entire leg. As I said before, doing anything from the top is not going to help. You need to remove the leg and take it apart. Yes there are two different leg part numbers but I cannot remember the part numbers or the difference. Call Venture manufacturing for help

    Another broken shackle problem

There is no question that these things need to be reinforced. There are few ways to do this but everyone should.
