    Greystone 32RE

We have had our 32RE for about a year. We have looked at many other trailers and motorhomes in the last year and we still prefer the 32re overall. We get lots of compliments on its good looks. We had some problems with it to start, but the basic design is great. We have put about 15k...

    Level recommendation

I believe that the whole purpose for leveling is to get the refrig cooling unit oriented correctly. It also helps the doors stay neutral. The refrig needs to be level to a half degree or about a half a bubble. You dont want to be walking around in the trailer while you are trying to level it...

ATF: Greystone - Main support bolts

It turns out that, not only were the two bolts I checked yesterday loose, but also the balance of the bolts I checked today. Here is a picture of the first one I found when I was running my Satellite TV wiring: The only bolts like these that I could find were only in the non-slide sections...

ATF: Greystone - Main support bolts

The two I looked at so far seemed to have lock washers that had too large an inside diameter. When I tightened one up the washer moved over to one side leaving part of the lock washer untouched by the nut. This is probably why they are common loose.

ATF: Greystone - Main support bolts

The other day I noticed that one of the nuts on the frame were loose. There is a triangle shaped support outside the frame. There is a bolt coming download through the floor and goes through the support out near the aluminum skirt. Any way, it appears that all the nuts on these bolts have...

My wife and I have worked through the details of the installation of a satellite antenna on our Greystone. We thought it might be helpful to write a document containing all the details of our experience. Click on the file below to bring up the pdf document. Factory comments would be...

ATF: Greystone - bathroom faucet make and color

I went through this same hunt. The coach fixtures are plastic. I called customer service and they gave me the supplier. I called them and they told me the fixtures were oil rubbed bronzend color. I could never find a perfect match at the big hardware stores, possibly because the original...

    front leveling jacks

If you take the legs too low or especially too high, (coach too high) the fuse will be blown. Retracting the legs will be a problem if you drive the foot into the stationary leg portion. Extending beyond 17 inches will also blow the fuse. The other guys described the fuse location well...

You won't have any problem with weight, or more to the point accelerating with your truck and trailer. I pull a greystone 32re with a 6L gasser, and dont have any major problems, You have way more low speed torque than I do, so no problem.

    water-filters

I believe in filtering particles and microbes outside the rv but not cholorine. I use a paper 1 micron pre filter for large stuff followed by a .5 micron ceramic filter. This Combination can stop a lot of rust at some campgrounds, but the ceramic unit can be cleaned. I believe one should...

    Greystone Satellite TV antenna connection

I have purchased a wineguard antenna and I'm ready to install. Can you give me some advice on where to bolt the unit. It has 4 feet in the base and they suggest # 10 screws. How far should I drive screws into the roof? Can i avoid air conditioning ducts and wiring? Driver side duct...

    Tires

I ran my powerking towmax str tires 10k miles without problems. I switched to goodyear marathon, which are also made in china. The sidewalls on the towmax were very thin and flexible compared to the new marathons. We'll see how the newly manufacturer goodyears hold up.

    Freeze issue.

Wow, so your trailer battery powered the furnance blower all night? Did you leave your truck hooked up electrically too, so that you got some power from both batteries. Or do you have more than one battery in the trailer?
