Does anyone know if the Ultralight Sundance fiver models (Mid Profile) are the same? In particular, I assume the short 28BH model shared with the North Trail line is probably structurally the same, which I'll bet includes the slide. Just for adjustment sake, I'd like to stay away from the...
We had a 2009 North Trail travel trailer that had a cable-type actuated slide that had rollers that rolled along the actual floor or uderside of the slide box. Does the Sundance (fifth wheels and travel trailers) have the same type, or is it a hydraulic or gear actuated with slide rails under...
So, Mike, a few questions because I don't have access to a super-slide or an Edge anywhere near local...
1) The North Trail has wide poly rollers that roll on a fiberglass laminated plywood floor of the slides. Does the Edge have steel tracks monted to the underside of their slide floors so...
Certainly there are other 31 and 32 footers with bunks Heartland offers that are below the almost 36 foot length of the 32QBSS. How about the 31QBS? It is 33'-5" . The 32QBSS and the 31BDSS are both King Slide models, which stretch them top the 35'-5".
I tow a 31BHD at 32'-7", and from a 27...
You can look at maximum tow ratings all day long, but the max is only rated with an empty truck with only the driver in the truck - no passengers or cargo. Be real concerned with payload. You may find your payload to be in the 1,200 pound range on your truck, but after loading up the typical...
A few questions about the slide out on the M-22...
How does the slide on the M-22 operate? Electrically?
Is it cable driven?
Does it have actual tracks on the underside of the slide, or long rollers that roll across the underside floor of the slide?
What kind of seals are on the...
So, we are considering the Edge, too (an M-22). Is this delamination beoming a problem or is this an isolated case? Has Heartland remedied this on future trailers, or ones currently being built? Just asking before we take a plunge.
Well, I'm interested in all the 31BHD owners on this post. We have a 31BHD, too. We haven't had much use out of it this year as it has been in/out of the shop since we bought it, and it ultimately had to go back to the manufacturer for some repairs, but we anticipate it back this week sometime.
I can assure you Heartland is not sleeping on improving their 2010 models for 2011 - and that is with ANY of their product lines. It is not uncustomary to see a heartland rig of the same model year with major improvements. If Heartland decides the benefits of upgrading or changing are worth...
