Thanks for all your suggestions. Forgot about Craigslist and the web site is great. Direct wants to charge me more than $150 to come out and hook up a receiver beacause I didn't include it my original installation and that doesn't include an additional dish.
Thanks again.
Need Direct Tv dish (not roof mounted) and receiver. Don't care if they are HD or not. Just switched from Dish and have to start over again. Should have saved my old Direct equipment but I didn't.
Hawkeye - This has worked well for me. No explosions either.

Take my advice. Don't assume your Surge Guard is defective and disconnect it. Thats what I did last year and burned up my microwave, bedroom tv and a few minor appliances. Problem was in the pedastal and campground reimbursed me for everything.
I had bought a used portable Surge Guard so I...

I too have been enjoying your travels. Brings back many memories of a similiar trip we took in 2002. See you are going back to Watson Lake and would like to suggest, if you haven't done so already, stopping at Dawson Peaks Resort, which is about 7 miles (KM's ?) east of Teslin at...
Just wanted to extend a heartfelt thank you to Brenda Rock in Heartlands parts department. Needed a number of parts to repair damage from two seperate tread separations that occured on our last trip and she did an excellent job in not only getting me the parts in a timely fashion but just...
I'm in Port Orchard,Wa and I just paid $162 + WA state tax at Big O - no shipping added. Les Schaub was the same price but added $12.50 shipping. Discount Tire in Tacoma wanted $210. In January I paid $142 in Beaumont CA after a tread seperation on I-10. Wish I would have been smart enough to...

I envy those of you heading for Alaska this summer. DW only knows one direction anymore - SOUTH.
Don't miss stopping at Dawson Peaks at milepost 797 in the Yukon- just before you get to...

Thanks for your great explanation. Have to admit I had to read it a couple of times for the info to sink in - but thats my problem. I'm on the road right now but will print this thread out when I get home and keep a copy in the BH and also get my tires balanced before our next trip.
Thanks...
This is really confusing. I have had a previous SOB and more recently my BH in to have the axles aligned - the first at a semi truck center and the BH at an alignment shop that specializes in RV's and both told me it was not necessary to balance the tires. Who do I believe?

Hey Bob
Glad to hear you are safe and sound in Yakima. You're right about lack of Heartland presence in WA. Think the main dealers are in Liberty Lake and Fife. That's why we ended buying in Muskegon. This state seems to lean more towards Montanas.
Holler if you get this side of the mountains...

Don't miss stopping at Dawson Peaks at milepost 797 in the Yukon. Dave and Carolyn are two of the nicest people you will ever meet and whether its an overnite in their campground or an afternoon...
Anybody not using their vacuum and would like to get rid of it? I need a new circuit board for ours and have been unable to find one. Eureka doesn't support them anymore and referred me to another company who suggests replacing the whole unit. Thought I'd check here first.
Please e-mail or PM...
We have an '07 and it was a 9260C which has a built in charge wizard. The reason I know is that some power problems just caused me to replace it. I now have a 9100(9160?) but have to get a plugable wizard. I'm pretty sure both models are rated at 60 amps.
Good luck.
