    Timbrens

Received a call today from the installer and he talked to Timbren's tech people who said it wouldn't hurt if a small groove was cut into the Timbren by the the shock bracket, it would have no effect on the Timbren's function. They are guaranteed, lifetime? So I had them installed today and...

    Timbrens

I scheduled to have Timbrens put on my F250 PSD 2WD. The left one went on as designed but the right Timbren interfered with the shock bracket in the unloaded position and would even be more severe loaded. Loaded it would have cut into the Timbren. Anyone else experienced this problem? The...

What type of dishes, glass or plastic?

We use Corelle and store on non slip material and turn the cups upside down for a wider base. Never had anything move. We leave the coffee pot on a pot holder and it doesn't move either (center kitchen). We repack our wine glasses in the box they came in.

    Our New 3600RE

And it gets smaller! We lived in Noblesville for 18 years and are now 5 mi north. Ham radio was going to be my retirement hobby as I was an intercept operator in the USAFSS and enjoyed the CW. I now see that CW will not be a requiremnet for a Ham license.

    Our New 3600RE

Congrats on your new Bighorn. We bought our 3670 from Modern in Nov. and just returned from FL. Thought maybe N9MB was your "N" number but it is attached to a 1945 Northrop aircraft in a Chino, CA museum. Enjoy.

    Awning Bracket Screws

I had a similar problem in that approximately 50% of the heads of my awning screws broke off. I'm guessing that either they were torqued too tightly or the screws were defective. I replaced all with #8 SS screws and a couple went in like they were going into wood but most were going into aluminum.

    Chair

Speaking of chairs, am I the only one who breaks the handles on the recliners? One week after delivery I broke one and one month later a guest broke the other. Both broke diagonally across the attach point. Good thing I carry two 12" cresent wrenches. They work but look cheesy!

    King bed solution

Having trouble putting the fitted sheets on the top of the king mattress and tucking sheets in etc.? Here is how we made it easier. Bought a 6x8 foot tarp, cut approx. 1" under bed board size and duck taped the tarp to the plywood. Now we slide the mattress from the headboard, put the fitted...

    First time out

Have to admit to brain lock. So use to our other 5th wheel that both of us didnn't realize that the gas heater switch was on the monitor panel. Our other monitor panel had only tank and battery readings. We kept looking for a toggle switch that read gas heater. Works fine one we found the...

    First time out

We are at the Forsyth KOA. Everything works except I can't figure out the gas H2o heater. It won't light on gas and the manual is not simple enough for me! Will call my dealer tomorrow and stop at a Heartlnd dealer (thanks Snuffy) if necessary. Otherwise all is good. Ms GPS got her voice...

    First time out

We are in Nashville, TN with our 3670 heading to FL. The GPS lost her voice on the way here but still got us to the campground. Hooked up to the internet to download a fix, stood up and cracked my head on the TV - what a life! Weighed in at 21,640 and am under all weight maximums. DW loves...

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll be looking into it as soon as we get out of this snow and headed south (next Wednesday).

    110 outlets

I have a 110 outlet on the rear counter of our 3670 that will operate if the plug is pressure rotated clockwise. There are no screws on the faceplate or outlet. How does one remove the outlet from the wall? Is it a simple snap in and out?
