Pressure fill water tank - 3670RL

Not leaking, don't see any untoward bulges over the axels, although that cardboard-ey stuff is pretty uneven, under there. I have to go to service anyway to address the six other things that need to be addressed - brakes, mostly. Thanks for input.

Pressure fill water tank - 3670RL

Ok, I put a hose in the water tank and wandered away, and forgot about it. While in the trailer talking on the phone I heard a pretty solid 'kunk' and realized the water tank had been filling away, unattended. Returned to find water gushing out of the vent. So, I obviously pressure filled it...

    Trip to factory

Ok, thanks for the info. I got another recommendation for RV Capital. I won't be coming back to the US until mid-June, so I don't think it's reasonable to expect them to hold it that long. Probably start a dialog in May and see if I can get an appointment set up. Thanks, rickb

    Trip to factory

Really? I was under the impression that the factory welcomed folks coming back with their units and problems therein. Part of this is an out-of-square cabinet that I suspect will require replacement - at least re-alignment. Seems like that would be an easy thing to do at the factory, less...

    Trip to factory

Hi - So, I'd like to get a couple of issues looked at w/ my new 3670RL and I figure the factory is the best way to go. Coincidentally, I'm going to be flying out of Chicago for a couple of month trip to Europe. So, a couple of questions: 1) Do I need to make an appointment to be seen? 2)...

    kitchen shelving

I used two adjustable wire racks from Wal-Mart in my 3670RL - a big one in the cabinet between the stove and the reefer (big, cavernous space), and a small one in the top thin cabinet to the right of the reefer, above the pantry rack pullout. They worked great - I put them in lengthwise, front...

Creaks and groans when lifting off the truck..

Yeah, I've considered that, and have watched for it. I put my hand on the truck and feel it begin to rise. I don't want to undo the jaws until the trailer is firmly on its feet, though. Always, after release, I still have to raise the trailer to get it up off the plate. It still creaks and...

Creaks and groans when lifting off the truck..

Hi - new to fiver. I notice I get a lot of creaks and groans when I extend the front feet to lift my 3670RL off the truck. Is this normal, or is something strained? thanx, rickb.

    Getting Scared

Funny. I had to tighten the drain under the kitchen sinks, too. I've got a couple of issues with my new 3670RL, but no show stoppers. Annoyances, more than anything. I was at the RV show down in Quartzsite this last week and browsed through a few other units, including a couple of 'Big...

    Oven pilot won't stay lit

Hey, it suddenly started working. Must have just taken some time for it to figure out it was supposed to work. Will take the oversized knob flange into consideration, though, and other thoughts. Thanx, rickb

Tight turns - stress on axles, wheels, tires?

Hmm. I don't know how practical that is, given the tight quarters you have to maneuver to get the thing into a slot in a lot of (most) parks. Or to turnaround, for that matter. rickb

    Quartzsite, winter 2008

Hanging out in the desert warm at Quartzsite for the winter. This is the high time, when the main show is on. I'm out at Scaddan Wash (a 14 day free BLM area), surrounded by campers, fifth wheels, trailers and tents of every size and price point. Seeing quite a few BHs - at least one other...

    Cabinet out of plumb!!

Was looking at the cabinets over the forward counter on my new 3650RL, and noticed they did not line up with the ceiling or the heater air intake above them - they're dropped significantly on the exterior wall side. That's kind of disappointing, as I look at it - cabinetry work was a big seller...

    Oven pilot won't stay lit

Title pretty much says it - I light it, it stays on for a bit, and then goes out. It stays on long enough that I've lit the oven, but after I turn off the oven, it goes out, again. (I'm leaving the dial on the 'pilot' setting.) So, I have a workaround - I can use the oven if I light it each...
