    Bike Rack Wobble

Tried bikes on the bed, which works well, unless you're stopping overnight frequently. Then used a ladder rack, which ended up breaking all the ladder supports. Now I am using a receiver mounted to the frame on the front of my F350. Zero problems with this installation, and quick and easy...

    Garmin RV760 and alternatives

Maybe you didn't read my response correctly - my 760 makes the notifications only in RV mode, not in auto mode, whether routing to a destination or just using the map. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

    Garmin RV760 and alternatives

I've had the Garmin 760 for a couple of years and like it better than the Rand McNally I had before. A couple of nits that I have discussed with Garmin tech support, though they aren't inclined to fix: in RV mode but not in auto mode: gives 5 mile heads up for state borders, announces speed...

    New owner with question

Leaving the tank valves open without a p-trap will provide a direct vent of the campground sewer system through your tanks and out your rooftop vent. Very smelly for you and your neighbors! Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

    Snap pads

Ordered a couple of the new style for my Bighorn a few days ago at retail. Saw this updated thread about the Christmas discount and thought I would see if I could still get it. Within minutes of sending my question I received a response stating that the company would honor my request, followed a...

    Black tank fall

I was able to buy the tape from a local RV repair guy "by the foot ". Didn't have to buy the whole roll, and have a little left over for future touch ups. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

    Bicycle transporting

Carried ours on the bed in our Bighorn, but switched to a ladder rack. When we returned from Arizona to Maine all the ladder supports were broken, so won't do that anymore! Now have a front mount receiver for my F350 and can relax. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

    No cable TV. 2016 3160EL

I had a loose jumper in the bedroom closet that caused me trouble. The connector had loosened completely from the cable. Anything on the shelf can jiggle it loose. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

    6.4 Owners!

Had an 08 6.4 that I dumped at 85k miles. After replacing the egr valve and housing, then both egr coolers, I started losing coolant again. Best the dealer could tell me was head gasket or cracked block. Start at $12k due to cab needing to be removed. Bottom line, have the system pressure...

    Bathroom Sink Drain

Shouldn't have to remove the seal. A previous link mentioned turning the drain plug 180 degrees. That's what I had to do as well. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

    Ashland Bathroom Sink

Make sure that the gasket under the faucet is installed. Believe it or not, mine was missing on my Bighorn 3070RL, resulting in water under the cabinet and through the hose penetration holes. I ended up putting silicone around rather than deal with the dealer. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

    Entrance for Mice

I also have a 3070RL and just started having mice problems. Caught one under the bottom drawer in the bedroom, a couple in the basement. Found some droppings inside the shore power cable entrance. Apparently they follow the cord and gain entrance through the gap above the cable. Blocked it with...

2014 Gateway 3200RS slideout roller issues

Just had the same issue fixed in my Bighorn 3070RL. An after market shop relocated the roller to the side an inch or two. Then installed 5 screws instead of 3, plus 2 in the edge of the particle board for good measure. The holes in the original location were pretty stripped and the shop was...

    Toilet not closing/shutting off

My previous rig's manual says to use cooking oil as lubricant. Worked on mine. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
