Scott, I do not wish to debate this in a public forum. We have been trying to get this fixed since Nov 4. Heartlands initial response was less than stellar. Chris's track record in returning phone calls as promised has been no better. I find it interesting that as soon as I posted this querry on...
Scott, I have a 2006 bighorn 3055rl. purchased 3/06. the front end has flexed enough to cause a gap of1/2 to 3/4 inch between the side wall and the front wall when hooked up. It has been a p**sing match between Heartland and Lippert as to whos at fault. Lipperts "factory' repair team fixed at...

we have a 2006 Bighorn 3055, purchased in March, in Texas. we are full time RV'ers. we now have some waranty issues we would like looked at. nothing major untill today. noticed water leaking out of underside of trailer. We and are now in Idaho. We contacted Heartland on 9/18, we have left two...
Sorry I haven'y been back lately. we are in Canada and Alaska and there is very little internet in the Yukon. Like was posted earlier, the water seems to be driven up into the carpet that is exposed under the slidout flange. I went to a local tire shop and got two tractor inner tubes, cut out a...
Not sure if this is the right forum but Jim can move it if neccessary. We have 2006 3055RL,mfg date 2/06. When traveling in wet weather the floor under the entertainment slide gets soaking wet. similar but not as sever situation with the big slide. It seems to be a matter of water thrown up by...
We are on our way to Alaska and find ourselves in need of some warrenty work. I tried the dealer locator and it wouldn't work. Can you help me locate a dealer.
I would like to add a Charge Wizard to my parents new 3055. Before I do do a "Search and Destroy" mission in their basement, can anyone tell me where the converter is located.
What we have done in the past is to take a "don't ask, don't tell" approach. The manufactures don't really care if you fulltime and the disclosure is more of a "CYA" thing for them.
As a "fulltimer" how does Heartland handle warranty problems if I'm 4-5 states away from the dealer where I purchased my Bighorn. This is important since I may not be "home" for 8-12 months at a time. Thanks Barney
Coop, consider this. Any kind of surge can cost alot of money. I had a case of the "Tim Allens" and accidently plugged mine into 240 volt. the short list of damage all of which were detroyed. The inverter, Bose Wave radio, coffee maker, 120 side of the fridge, built in vaccum. All in all about...
In my life as a tool salesman, I remember that the roller bearing drawers on the tool boxes would open and close when you went around corners if the box was not locked. I love the idea of roller bearing drawers but has anyone had a problem with them opening up during transit? I don't see a way...
As a full timer and solar nut I gotta share this. Last time I plugged in to a power tree was January 12th 2006. We use the computer all day long and watch TV at night. The wife vaccums atleast twice a week and uses what ever she wants. This stuff is magic, the sun comes out and it just works.
5-...
I've truley enjoyed this forum. Its very refreshing to have this open exchange with a factory rep,and all the good folks in the group. I am curious as to what kind of lead time it takes from order to delivery.
We plan on leaving Idaho for a summer in Alaska the end of May. Is it too late to...
