    Southco Wireless Keypad Success

Our 2012 Bighorn was built in June 2011 and has the has the Southco wireless keypad entry system. We bought it new in October 2012. When we arrived in Florida last December, we attempted to use the system for the first time since April 2013 and determined that we had forgotten the code. I...

Leak at Shower Pumbing Access Door

I decided to go with butyl caulk and larger screws. I put the caulk behind the flange and behind the screw-in door. I've seen no water since. I used this caulk. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001FCB4JS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Leak at Shower Pumbing Access Door

Sorry for the long post, but I wanted to accurately and completely describe the problem. I have a 2012 Bighorn 2985RL. It has a shower stall, not a tub. Water is running out on the floor from beneath the shower stall. I have determined that when water is sprayed around the bottom of the stall...

4" LED Replacement "Tail" Lights At An Affordable Price.

Re: 4" LED Replacement Lights At An Affordable Price. Mission accomplished! Pushed the old lights into the cavity, being careful not to let go of them, and drew them out sideways. Getting the replacements in was not easy. The HFT grommet is much stiffer than the OEM. I filed the opening smooth...

I'll be watching your progress with interest. Everyone who has this problem should contact the manufacturer. We paid good money for these heaters. They should work!

    Ford 6.7 Proper Oil

I've been using Mobil 1, 5W40, which I understand to be a true synthetic, since my first oil change. I buy it at Wally World, except the 13th quart, & get the filters online. Total for parts is just over $100 and cost of change has never been over $30. I'm getting 9000 - 10,000 miles between...

    FMI Fireplace Thermostat

The new control arrived about 3 weeks after it was promised to be sent. Looked it over and decided that, given my technical skills and arthritic fingers, discretion was the better part of valor and I'll get my dealer to install it when I visit him next September. I'll report thereafter.

    ATF: Bighorn - keyless entry

Before we took delivery our dealer put a cover over the keypad. It's the same cover that is used for the outside electric outlets. Works well so far.

    FMI Fireplace Thermostat

Well, I'm glad I'm not alone with this problem. I'm going to wait until the promised part turns up from the manufacturer before I start to take the unit apart. I expect to receive it early next week and will report my experience thereafter. I'll certainly be looking for a thermostat when I get...

    FMI Fireplace Thermostat

I spoke to the manufacturer yesterday, after 30 minutes on hold. Upshot is the the tech didn't really know what might be wrong, but is sending me a new control board. I will post further developments.

    FMI Fireplace Thermostat

I have a Model FEF26 fireplace which does not respond to its thermostat. It works fine otherwise, but will not start or stop automatically. I have the mode set to "Auto". Has anyone else experienced this and found a solution?
