Up here in the rainy PNW I crack a window at one end of my rig and crack a ceiling vent at the other. Always very damp after sitting at home for a month or two but doing this dries out my trailer within a day even if raining outside.
Welcome! You will meet an amazing goup of people in here. Info freely offered. Please attend any and all rallies that you can. life long friends are at hand.
Chuck and Donna, kills me to have to cancel my rally reservations in Jackson. Had so much fun there for the regional and wanted to explore the area some more. Will miss seeing old friends and meeting new friends.

I had a similar problem. Drove me nuts until I realized that the A/C was blowing on my thermostat. Folded a thin piece of cardboard and placed it over the thermostat. Now it cycles as it should. Jut have to remember to fashion a new deflector each cooling season.
I have a 2011 21FBS North Trail with the wide trax and it tows beautifully. Much better than my previous trailer, same length with normal spacing of the axels. Put new tires on it last year and bought the Goodyear Endeavor D rated tires. Can run them a lot faster than I want to tow so offer a...
Doug, I will be in site 43, arriving on the 7th and leaving on the 14th. Last time. we arrived just after the storm. We could see the storm as we headed East on I-90 and hoped we would not get caught under it. Missed it but not the after effects. Not fun going through Spokane during rush hour...
My frist bumper pull had a very square front. Had to carry a canoe on top of my Suburban back from Castro Vally, CA for daughter and son inlaw and exptected my mileage to head south. To my surprise it went up. Did some research and found that the Sought Australia Caravan club had a member who...
I had this problem with my 2011 21fbs when it was new and it was a bent axle. Dealer replaced it, noticed that the same thing was happening on the other axle and replaced it also. No wear problems since.
I agree with Rod--terrific rally! One would think it was old hat for the new hosts. I have been to a few and this rates right at the top. Congratulations from the other Bruce.
As expected, another incredible rally! Silverton Oregon Rally is next and can't wait. What a great couple of organizations. We certainly get along well including those from California and Idaho.
Adjust your WD hitch so you have more weight on the front axel. Should be close to the same added weight on both the front and rear axels--that should help a whole lot with the sway.
I have the TST 507 and one reads just a little lower in both temperature and tire pressure than the others. I don't worry about it at all as long as it is consistent.
Reese w/dual cam sway control since 1989 on two tow vehicles and three trailers. Never a problem and have pulled in winds stronger than I probably should have--never any problems at all. Several good brands out there and, as you are probably seeing, very loyal users. Thumbs up for doing the...
Why do you need to know the dry weight? Nobody pulls a trailer completely empty. If you are trying to figure out what you can pull with a given TV, match the truck with the gross weight. That way you will be able to pull a loaded trailer safely.
Hope to see you at one of the rallies. A great way to meet a lot of good people and have a lot of fun. Great resource for anything you want to know about your rig and camping in the NW
, Doug, I will be arriving September 6 and leave on the 11th as part of the caravan. Site 208
At Silver Spur, site 36 leaving on the 13th, again with the caravan.

I am partial to the Reese Dual Cam Sway Control WD hitch. Like you, I have been using mine since 1989 and this is the third trail I have used it on. Of course, there are others out there with a plethora of adherents.
Something similar happened to me this year and trailer is over five years old. Neither the grey or black tanks wanted to drain. Seems there was a 'dam' where the two drains meet. Back flushed a couple of times and all was fine. Very careful now to make sure there is enough in the black tank...
