    Amishcountry.org Phishing, Beware!

I had to do a little research because the difference of caps or no caps in URLs in most cases makes no difference. You still end up at the same place. Punctuation can make a difference. In the case you mention using either takes you to the same URL VisitElkHartCounty.com...

    Fuel Discounts

Love's and TA's fuel/gas prices are .20 a gal or more than surrounding stations to begin with. Traveling across country I seldom stopped at either of those because of that difference. Get off of the Interstate a few blocks and buy at local stations. The prices are better, at least from my...

X chocks before or after unhitching

Mainly because they restrict any tire movement. Tires that cannot move with other adjustments can put stress on other parts of the rig. Generally the last thing I did was X chocks and the first thing when getting ready to tear down was X chocks.

    Watch DVD in bedroom

OK, sorry I think we had a miscommunication. If I used the item that I showed in the URL and the one DISH receiver on the main TV, the other TV's will only show the channel that the main TV is showing. (I would need individual DISH receivers or Joey's to see different channels on others). I had...

    Watch DVD in bedroom

But the question was not about extending a remote signal. A blaster works for that. This was a case of receiving a DVD playing on one TV at another TV.

In the case of DISH you can only watch the channel that the DISH receiver is tuned...

    When to consider disc brakes

Dan covered it but you do not say what tow vehicle you have. If you have turbo or exhaust braking and can maintain a safe down hill speed you are fine. The less you have to apply brakes the better off you will be at the bottom.

    Black tank flush in-tank components

Flexible 1/2 or 3/8 inch line with standard garden hose connection and a shut off. It can be sent down the toilet bowl, moved around flushing bottom, top and sides. I had the tank professionally cleaned one time and the tech gave me the idea. All parts are available at Home Depot.

    Bunk Ladder

I think this question was covered sometime back. I don't recall the reason but I think it came down to people falling off of ladders and liability. You can probably find it with a search.

    Bunk Ladder

There are also 4 step folding ladders if you need higher. Ours served two purposed. The bunk, and the very high cabinets that my 5'3" wife could not reach. Come to think of it there was a fourth. The outside stove vent cover that I could not reach from the ground.

    Used cyclone

We just sold our 2011 3010 after buying it new 9 years ago. We had the usual small repairs that you get with any new RV but overall nothing major and we loved it. I put it up locally on Craig's list and the new owner drove it off 3 weeks later. For what we were asking, but then I'm a little...

Typical Blade Valve used in RV's

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BFS0ry19tTU I say this fix some time back but the recommended lube was/is baby oil. It does work and may save the big repair you are planning.

Can the water pump be used to fill the fresh water tank from a non-pressurized source?

A little more involved but: I have a 35 gal tote that I use for fresh water when we dry camp for longer periods. I also have a used water pump from an RV that I rebuilt. I use that with long 12 volt lead to the battery, and hoses from the tote to the water inlet on the trailer when I need to...

    Pressure Relief Valve

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SYnL0Z0D79I It is normal and something that is covered in a number of YouTube videos as well as in some RV handbooks. I usually just follow the directions in this video and give the relief valve a quick open/close to release some of the pressure and things go...

Generator Starting Procedures - 2019 Cyclone

I am pretty sure the Onan manual has the full starting procedure set out but with gas, it recommends holding the prime down for 30 seconds or longer. Once warmed you don't need to prime if you have shut it down for some reason. SeaFoam, SeaFoam, SeaFoam, and if you did not get that SeaFoam...

    Leaky roof or condensation??

Someplace in your material for the unit there is a line or two about dealing with condensation. Most all RV makers include a warning as it is a very common problem during the colder months. Most will tell you to crack a window slightly to help equalize humidity. As mentioned it is best to run...

After 8 years of owning our Cyclone 3010 we have sold it and moved to a class C from another manufacturer. Burning Though Propane?

If you do not need this area for living, close the door. As I mentioned in an earlier post, that area is poorly insulated (if at all) and if like mine the furnace vent in there is totally inadequate. I you have to leave it open supply some supplemental heat with a ceramic heater. A week on a...

    Burning Though Propane?

If you have the door between the garage and the main living quarters open you will burn through a bunch in a hurry. There is not insulation in the garage. I close that off if it is not being used and keep a small ceramic heater in there when on shore power.

Water line from fresh tank freezing?

From my experience, and it is vast with this particular issue, that will only solve half of the problem. You will also need to insulate the area below the UDC and the UDC itself. If it is like mine there is an area below the large hole at the bottom of the control panel that is open. You should...

    Water Filter Location

Prior to the UDC and before the softener. I don't mount anything in an area where there could be water damage. The UDC is fine if there is an outlet for water should something go wrong but in the basement is a no-no as far as I am concerned. In freezing weather I wrap both in insulation.

    Reject question

I would have to go find the bottle but I do recall that it should be "out of the elements" for 24 hours for it to set properly. I usually do mine right before I take it back to covered storage. It also says not to apply if the temp is below 85.

Here is the scenario where I get sewer smell back into the trailer. The vent cover for the bathroom vent is open and the fan may or may not be running. In most cases it is worse if it is not. Another vent fan is running in the trailer. I usually have the FantasticFan on low going in the...
