30 RKDD heat to the master bedroom

We dealt with this issue last winter and I want to fix it now before cold weather sets in. The heat does not seem to reach to the master bedroom. The kitchen is a furnace, the living room is hot, the bathroom is cool, the bedroom is cold. I feel at the vents and there is air flow but nowhere...

    Commode Overflow

Here's one I have not found on the forum. The wife wakes me up on the first night at the campsite saying "we have a sewage leak!!!". I jump out of bed into a puddle of water and when I walk into the bathroom immediately see that the commode is overflowing. I notice the water is clear and...

    Why am I getting shocked?

I knew I came to the right place! I now have a good checklist to continue troubleshooting. I know I have a potentially serious situation and do not take it lightly, thanks for the warnings. I hope it's nothing more than a bad extension cord. I'll report with my findings. Thanks again, Jesus

    Why am I getting shocked?

Yes, the radio runs on 12v dc but was it coincidental that I was no longer shocked when I turned off the radio? I have hitched and unhitched the trailer many times connected to shore power and never felt a tingle. Thanks for the feedback

    Why am I getting shocked?

Not sure where to post this one but I'm sure the moderators will send this to the correct area. Here's the scenario: 2012 NT 21FBS I had just finished washing the outside of the trailer and was in the process of hooking up the TV to bring it back to storage. While I was washing the trailer I was...

North Trail - AC Stops Working

Re: ATF: North Trail - AC Stops Working There's one more place to look before you remove relay boxes and roof panels. When I was changing out my thermostat in our 21fbs I had trouble getting the unit to work properly. I never got the same reactions from the fan/unit even if wired back. I...

Easiest access to the black tank flush connection

Yes. It was a complet unit. The exterior female hose connection and the interior anti-siphon valve that connects to the internal piping adapter.

Easiest access to the black tank flush connection

Final resolution I removed the belly cover at the back end of the unit and was able to find the pvc piping to the flush connection and evidence that it was leaking from upstream. I removed the three screws that holds the connection to the back of the rig and pulled it out slightly (whatever the...

Easiest access to the black tank flush connection

2012 NT 21FBS We love it! After our first camping excursion in our new camper last year I noticed a leak when dumping the grey and black water tanks. A trip to the dealer and it was repaired by replacing the common line between the valves. I won't go into the details about time and parts...

Clearance problems with front mounted spare on TT?

Re: Clearance problems with front mouted spare on TT? We took ours off and put it in the forward storage compartment. I take it out every once in a while to check tire pressure. We have a dip in our driveway and it was too close to chance it. It still leaves plenty of room for our storage needs.

    pull out bike rack

I have a 21FBS that has the same bike rack and I've only used it once. I made sure I put a rag (or other means of protection) between the bike frame and the center post so that the bike frame did not rub and tied off the first bike with some extra-strength velcro strap I purchased at HD. I...

    2010 Tacoma as tow vehicle

2009 Tacoma with the tow package, a brake controller and a WDH, took off to Gatlinburg, TN and North Alabama. The Tacoma did great with our 21FBS.

ATF: North Trail - Propane bottles

As a gas saver, I purchased a small ceramic heater at Wal-Mart for those very cold days. The furnace does not come on as often and it warms the 21FBS surprisingly well.

Our beloved North Trail 32BUDS was stolen.

I see from your profile that you are in TX. Is that where the RV was stored? I just left mine in a storage facility 6 hours away (we are coming back in a month) that advertised security and reliability and I'm starting to worry. I'm in AL. Good luck in your attempt at recovery.

    New to this Forum

We also have the 2012 21 FBS. We had some minor issues taken care of by the dealer after the maiden / shakedown voyage but we are now looking forward to our next trip. We will be in the Smoky Mountains of Tenn next month. Looking forward to posting lots of great pics on the forum!

ATF: North Trail - Replacement Part Delay

We finally have closure!!! I took the advice and called HL directly. Sadly, they could do no better than what the dealership promised. It seems they are at the end of the manufacturing run for that model and the part is no longer on the shelf. HL called a different plant and got a part sent...

ATF: North Trail - Replacement Part Delay

The problem: The first week of August we purchased a 2012 NT 21FBS from an authorized dealer. We took her to a local campground for 3 nights (Aug 8-10) to work out the trailer and discover any issues before we hit the road. We returned her to the dealership the following Monday (Aug 15) with a...

    Trailer Brake Controller adjustment

I did the 25 MPH check and had to adjust accordingly. After reading these posts I did the "open hand to the forehead" as the answer was so obvious. The trailer WAS NOT helping with the braking and the ABS system was doing its job. Controller adjusted, problem solved. Thanks for all the replies.

    Trailer Brake Controller adjustment

No, they do not pulsate without the trailer hooked up. Sorry I didn't mention it but it was the first thing I checked when I disconnected. I'll try with the manual control and let you know. thanks.

Ok. Thanks. Not being a wise-acre, what explains the pulsation in the truck brake pedal?

    Trailer Brake Controller adjustment

Probably an elementary question.............but here goes anyway. NT 21 FBS I have a very good brake controller (Prodigy P2) installed in my Tacoma that worked well with my 18 ft trailer. I recently traded up to the NT 21 FBS. On my way home from the lot I played with the controller setting...

Hinges popping out of their holes (21fbs)

Just got back from the shakedown cruise in our 2012 21FBS. Three nights in extreme heat and rainy nights. We've got a short list of items for the dealer to fix but overall an enjoyable experience. Has anyone had trouble with the hinges in the cabinets located over the slide "popping" out of...
