RESOLVED: Valve leaking, need advice for how to fix

Re: Valve leaking, need advice for how to fix I took Ray's advice and removed the finger tight connectors, which allowed me to position the pipes above the heater, much more accessible! Thanks again for all your help.

RESOLVED: Valve leaking, need advice for how to fix

Re: Valve leaking, need advice for how to fix Yeah, just to give you some more context for what I'm dealing with here: The blue line valve at the bottom is what I'd need to replace. Cutting pipe? I'm really bummed; I would have expected this to be an easier fix. Did its designers...

RESOLVED: Valve leaking, need advice for how to fix

Re: Valve leaking, need advice for how to fix I'll have to take another look, it seemed difficult to get in there and replace anything. Any tips for disassembling?

RESOLVED: Valve leaking, need advice for how to fix

I'm de-winterizing my camper (Heartland MPG). After attempting to turn the cold water valve back on to flow into the hot water heater, I noticed something wasn't right. The valve was able to rotate 360 degrees...which was certainly odd. I finally managed to force it back into place, and get...

Battery terminal thing corroded/broken, what to do?

Think I found the exact one: http://www.wiringproducts.com/contents/en-us/p1153_12_volt_circuit_breaker.html I managed to finally get it off by sawing it. I will take it to the NAPA near me and see what they can do, hopefully I will be back in action then. My hands hurt, time for a beer. :)

Battery terminal thing corroded/broken, what to do?

Thanks, found this: http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/CatalogItemDetail.aspx?R=BK_7823003_0361081943 Or maybe something like this would be more weather resistant? http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/CatalogItemDetail.aspx?R=BK_7823157_0006522027 What's the right Amp rating?

Battery terminal thing corroded/broken, what to do?

Would you happen to have a link to a viable replacement part? I tried unscrewing it but those screws are really hard to turn and get a good grip on with the screwdriver.

Battery terminal thing corroded/broken, what to do?

Yes, I am not getting battery juice inside the trailer. This happened last year, and cleaning fixed it then when I was able to disassemble and clean the contacts.

Battery terminal thing corroded/broken, what to do?

I wasn't sure what to call this thing, so I took a picture so you knew what I'm talking about. The terminal that connects my battery to the RV is corroded, and not letting electricity in. I began to disassemble it by loosing the rusted nuts. One of them got stuck, and while turning it, the...

    Two water heater switches...

Thanks everybody! Makes total sense. It didn't happen yet, but for my notes, how would I replace the element should it burn out? Seems like I should buy a backup element just in case.

    Two water heater switches...

Hello, my 2011 Heartland MPG 182 has two switches with a Water Heater label. There is one switch on the test panel, and when I switch it on it fires up the water heater. There is another one over to the right of the bathroom. When I flip it, it does seemingly nothing. Any ideas what the...

New Heartland MPG Owner's Electical Woes

Thanks everybody. My multimeter wasn't working when I finally had a need for it, so I had the battery tested and it was in 100% health. Luckily I had a neighbor who had one, and he helped trace it back to where the battery cables connected to the trailer and found that current wasn't...

New Heartland MPG Owner's Electical Woes

So I just bought an MPG 182 2011 off Craigslist, and wasn't really given a rundown on how things work. My first question - is there anything I need to do to get it to draw off battery power? I drove it home, and went to turn on the lights and nothing is on. I plugged it into an extension...
