Well as always you guys are the best. The reason I'm asking is because I tore off the yellow stickers etc after buying the Torque. I thought I could relocate them. Nope. So heartland sent me new one and it shows a 2020 manufacture date... after owning 2 heartland camper's I'm jumping ship to...
Good afternoon,
I hope everyone is doing well! Stupid question. Does anyone know the VIN location on the frame? I'm not talking the the factory stickers that show the VIN. I have looked everywhere on the front A frame. I'm assuming its stamped? etched in some metal?
Any help would be...
Well I must be a dumb----.lol. I took a buddy over at lunch. Black is the positive wire. It does go to frame but not ground. It connects to a 2 terminal breaker that's connected to the frame. White definitely ground. Hopefully the 40seconds it was wired wrong no DC items are fried. Thanks for...
Thanks guys for the input. I have not messed with battery since purchase. It has gen prep but I have no gen. I'm assuming big wire's are for that? Maybe the dealer installed battery? Everything has worked great the last year. The small lower red wire I will need to look at for roughting.
Jack screw works great, all the time. My point is the black wire runs 16" from positive post directly to the frame grounded. White wire connected to negative battery side. This is the only way Jack screw works. When I pulled battery or any battery not concerned about reconnect because its...
Danemayer thanks. I'm still confused why black wire is connected right there, ground on frame a foot away and Jack screw only runs when connected to positive on battery. Makes no sense
Good evening, stupid question. I took my torque T26 to the storage yard and got in a hurry and pulled the battery before I had the trailer off the truck. So I reinstalled battery, white wire to positive and black to ground. It sparked a little and made a ticking sound, but Jack screw would...
Claudia1 welcome to the forum.
I believe because the mattress is only 3" thick you will have enough sheet to put under the ends. You could also buy a CA King sheet set that is longer at 84". I own a Torque so I bought a little step ladder that I use to get on the bed.
Good luck.
Good morning,
Long time no post and I hope everyone is doing well! After being out of the camping world for a long time I just purchased my 2nd Heartland camper. Its a Torque T26 Toy hauler travel trailer. Boy I'm loving it and I'm having great time getting back into one of my favorite things...
Re: Key Largo Modification - Utility Wall Entry
Nice work Jim! Is there any big changes on the inside? Did they get the FP centered over the TV? I really like the roof color!
Have fun, Steve
Ray,
I like no payments also! atleast the squirrels didn't get to your truck. The D-mn tree rats chewed on my Ford for a while and it cost over $2000 to fix!!!!
I put a scope on my 22 and I have been having fun killing as many as I can.
Steve
I have a set of G614 on my 3400RL and they have been great. A budy of mine is running a set of LT's on his 4 slide Montana and they are doing well. After I need to replace my G614's I'm considering putting LT's on it.
The LT's I'm sure are not as exspensive as G614's. I wonder how much of this...
I'm with Porthole, We have made 3 trips from Ga to Ca and have never made a reservation! It's an adventure for us and we just like to wing it. Yes we have stayed in some dumps though..
Steve
David,
Congrats on you new rig! Its a nice floorplan and you will love it moving up from the size of your Outback. I have owned a Bighorn going on 6 years and my only problem is we don't get out enough lately using it! I have early spring fever but I work to much!
Enjoy!
Steve
Texxags,
Welcome to the forum, electric is the way to go in my opinion. I own a 03 DS Club Car 48 volt and I have pulled it a couple of times behind my Bighorn. You need to go check out this golf cart forum: www.buggiesgonewild.com
Good luck,
Steve
Sandpirate,
When my truck had the same problem we are talking about the dealer wanted $2500 to fix. If my FICM truely wasn't bad it would have costed me nothing! If your having fuel problem's it will cause bad FICM codes.
Steve
It seems like when the engine reaches a certain temperature – when the EOT and ECT is between 120 and 175 – I hit the gas and it basically does not. The RPMs don’t jump, the turbo doesn’t do anything…obviously… If I hold the gas down for a while it usually will lurch forward and start running...
EHCSROPE,
I own a 05 6.0 Powerstroke with 85K, and I have been fighting this same problem for the last 4 months and I'm pretty sure I have fixed it. Yes they said my FICM was bad and I replaced it, But I still had probs after the new FICM. My problem was the fuel pump! and my external tank...
Bozo,
We just stayed a week at Mistletoe State park on Clark Hill lake. It's 7 miles off I-20 about 15 or so miles west of Augusta. Nice state park, I don't think this will work for you but you should check it out some time if you haven't been there yet. Just get some good coffee and drive on...
SouthernNights we are going to Mistletoe again. We take a boat and do alot of fishing. We havn't been to Skidway yet. Have you stayed at George L Smith or Hamburg? These 2 are my favorite.
I've spent a week cleaning and detailing our well used 2007 3400RL Bighorn. We are about to set off on our annual American pilgrimage to one of our favorite Georgia state parks for 6 nights of relaxation and fun. Our Bighorn still looks as good as the day we bought it! I have done alot of mods...
We also have had alot of scratches in our "Corian" after 5 yrs. I have buffed them out but they come back. Stupid question? what about granite? What does granite weigh VS solid surface? I have alot of granite in our home and no scratches. Granite in a RV? we are spoiled.....
Steve
All my stock 2005 6.0 pulled my 07 3400rl weighing 14K + over 7000 miles across the US and didn't miss a beat. I even went through the Bighorn Mountain's after Yellowstone. When I got home I calculated my MPG and it was 10.6 for the whole trip! and I think it runs on Diesel? I always put the...
Well I got everything fixed. There was some seperation shrinkage in the caulking up on front cap, the same side that the water was coming in. No big deal to fix, I'm kinda scared of ladders after falling 22' 3 yrs ago other wise it would have been fixed or found years ago.
Thanks for the...
