    Replacing exterior trim

Had a blowmax let loose (I know) and now I have to replace aluminum on lower left rear of my Cyclone. Any tips or tricks from those that have done this. Parts are on the way. Thanks

Thinking of Buying a 5th Wheel Heartland Cyclone 3800

Things I wish were different is the flat awning. Not very helpful at times. Also our model year has the double loft bunk which is pretty useless and wasted space except for storage. Should not be a problem for you as I believe the newer models are single beds. And I still wish the bed was north...

Thinking of Buying a 5th Wheel Heartland Cyclone 3800

I can say that wife and I are very happy with our 3800. Found a couple of things I wish were different but nothing that we cant live with and it so far has been exactly what we wanted, good for just us and with company. As far as the truck, I'm sure you could get away with a 250/2500 (lots of...

    Floor Mounted Tie Down Systems

I also use the Condors however I attached those to an aluminum L bracket and milled out slots so the front d- Rings poke up through it. They are very secure once the front straps are attached to the rings sticking up through the L bracket. I also use extra straps in center and at rear as insurance.

Options to Purchase on 3800 or 4000

AJ, is that true for all of the carefree awnings. I was told mine was not adjustable.

Options to Purchase on 3800 or 4000

The awning on my 3800 is the carefree and is probably the only thing I would do over on the unit. It goes out straight and flat and provides very little shade, certainly nothing compared to friends that we camp with.

    cyclone 3800 garage tv

I will send a message to AJ, thanks. To clear up my thoughts I would drill through the garage ceiling into the bottom of the loft where I had mounted a piece of ply. i figured this would allow me the support to install the mount. I'm sure AJ will have the answer.

    cyclone 3800 garage tv

I could be wrong but I dont believe that pic is of a 3800. It looks nothing like my 2013 and there is no way the bunks would clear with those cabinets there. Also my connections are on the garage loft ceiling on the left side of the rig. Since Porthole has chimed in I would like his opinion, or...

    cyclone 3800 garage tv

Interested to hear what others have done. Been thinking about adding one to my unit but just havent done it yet. My thought was to get something like a Morryde flip-up mount and mount it using bolts into the loft bed area. Would probably have to use a piece of plywood in the loft to secure it.

    Mounting a Wheeldock

In mine I got an 8' piece of aluminum angle and had it milled out so the d-rings came up through. I then mounted my condors to the piece of angle. Once the bikes, Harley dressers, are in the condors I strap the front to the rings coming up through the angle. Very secure. Got the idea off RV.net...

Here's what I learned this weekend

Re: Heres what I learned this weekend Did not call yet and now that I know how its plumbed shouldn't be a problem. But the wife and I both recall salesman saying the rear bath shared a tank and, although I could be wrong, I seem to recall others talking about their rear bath having a black/grey...

Here's what I learned this weekend

At PDI salesman told me that the rear bathroom holding tank was a combo black/grey for the garage bath. Also from other posts here seems that's what others have as well. Tank level gauge has never worked in that bathroom so on this, our final trip I decided to fill the tank to top and flush it...

    Winter Cover

Been looking around for a winter cover for the 3800 and not finding much luck as they all seem to be a foot or two short. Would like to keep it inside but may not be an option so I'm looking for a good quality cover. Anybody get one yet for a 3800 or any suggestions.

    Gray tank overflow?

Did some checking while I was installing the EMS unit and couldn't find a leak in the grey vent stack. Did however find that the black tack vent was cracked where it goes into the tank. Being the gentle person I am I snapped it completely trying to see how bad it was cracked. Have a temp fix on...

Just Looking and Need Help !

Just measured the garage, 11'7" on my 3800. As far as the kitchen space my wife and a friend were both there making dinner last weekend. Although they both were not between the counter/fridge they said they had plenty of counter space when they were able to work on opposite sides. Also that...

    Gray tank overflow?

We had another couple stay with us for the weekend and wife did not check the gray before getting in the shower. Pulled the valve and it stopped but obviously had some water in...

Need a little help with our Cyclone please

Re: a little help please Guess you just have to be careful not to have too many and pour the beer in the hose and drink the water. Anyway, thanks a lot guys, just reading some people were pouring or dumping the bleach in had me confused.

Need a little help with our Cyclone please

Loving the new rig so far but now its time for a couple of questions 1) What is the best way to get bleach into the freshwater tank to sanitize? 2) was sitting in the garage the other day with the screen down, breeze was blowing pretty good and i noticed the screen not attached to anything on...

    Sliding pantry shelves?

On our 3800 there are some narrow and tall cabinets to the right of the fridge. My wife would like to add some sliding shelves to them to make them more useful but didnt have much luck at the hardware store finding something to fit. Wondering what everybody else is using in this space.

    3800 vs 3612

Thanks for the welcome and info. The wife and i can do without the 1/2 bath but we ride and vacation with another couple quite a bit and think it may come in handy. Thanks again, glad I still got at least a month before we have to make a decision.

    3800 vs 3612

Hi all, new to the forum and hopefully new to rvs very soon. After months of online looking and now a few visits to dealers, my wife and I have narrowed it down to the 3800 and 3612 even though we havent seen the 3612 yet. We cant decide, I like the layout of the 3612 best but also like the 1/2...
