Thanks Roy/Sally
The policy I had was an agree policy of sorts. I said what it was worth on paper and they paid provided it booked a hat. I also had prices and listings in hand for he adjusted.
Can you just shorten the pipe running into the toilet? A great repair material for this is marine tex....... great stuff, and it is tuff. Find at boat shop
I went to Lows and made a handle out of threaded rod and a few nuts to lock it on and the other handle forever. All the hardware and handles were in the loose hardware section.
Straight line wind / F-0 tornado. Flipped trailer over daughters college transportation.
Progressive, said their market research found a few trailers a little cheaper and a few a little more than what I insured for, so they paid me what I had the value listed at.
Progressive came out right away and looked the rig over. They paid me what I had it insured for on the spot and that is all I can ask. I still lost a few thousand from what I paid for it, but only a few.
It is a good thing we were not upside down in a loan.
https://youtu.be/aLIFqiGtYj4 I have video of he recovery I will try and post in about an hour. One flat bed one cable and one upset tow guy.........
Ok, They drug it out to the end the drive way and the stood it back up (Video) The put it on a ball and towed it 1/8th mile to a temp parking.
Re: two days from fist trip of the year and now........No RV
Yes, it lifted off the ground slightly on one side, then slid close to the car but did not touch the side of the car then rolled onto the roof of the car and over impaling it self onto the tree. There was literally a fresh Log in the...
Re: two days from fist trip of the year and now........No RV
Thanks, Lets hope so. Daughter just took finals the day before but goes back too college in he fall.
Well I don't post much, but when I do it's a big one. RV was ready to go with fresh wheel bearings, all systems checked twice, all maintenance done, inspections complete and just washed it all. Only loading and leaving was next for our first trip of the year and our annual Crater of...
RV is 30 amp and I have an adapter plug that will convert it to 15A/110 however I would like to be able to plug the 30 amp rv cord into my gen that only has 120/240volt twist lock styly plug and get the full use of 120 volt and 30 amp?
Please keep it simple I don't know a whole lot here about...
Doing my visual inspection I wonder how I inspect for worn suspinsion bushings? My book says they use bushings hat will last for a very long time, will they? Are they never fail bushings?
Yes, that's right Bret. Kind of messed that one up. Yes it's big and loud and I love it.....Reminds me of my son and the ice storm it got us through.:angel:Would be used for emergencies only - just wanted to make sure the ac and other items would not be harmed by a non inverter gen.
Thanks
I kave a non sine wave gen that puts out 6000 watt running. Has a plug that says 125/250v 20amp....Can I use it with out hurting anything? I know power will be limited but will non sine hurt the onboard converter/inverter or appliances?
Great info Dan, thanks for taking the time to type all that info. ... I think it's a non HD dish to a reciever that's non hd. I will set it up in the yard first and get it going I hope. Then through the trailer if that works like you said.
Thanks again Dan.
So I have a dish 500 dish from a neighbor now what do I need? Can I connect the sat dish direct to the reciever I will take on the road? It has 1-4 connections is each connection for a different TV?
How do I know where to aim the dish at different locations?
I have always crossed my safety chains. They are not long enough on my 2013 North Trail to do this. I also have to run them over my 4 point hitch instead of hanging under it. Where do I get extensions? Whats the best way to make them longer without welding new ones on? Where to find the...
Thanks. The only clip it has looks like a flat band that wraps half way around it on both ends. I would need a flat head to pop the clip up or off to remove it I think......Any harm doing this? Not sure why they would attach the door holders on the outside if they didn't want you to?
Both TT doors have metal loops and holders on the outside to keep the doors secured to the side of the trailer when full open. Problem is both doors have the hydraulic rods attached at the top that keep the doors from going all the way back and don't just pop off or do they? Are they made to...
I saw a state law list by AAA that says if your passenger vehicle or combo of vehicle and trailer had a GVWR of 10,000lb or more in AR. you had to pull in to the weight stations????????
Any other states that require this? My truck is 7200 and trailer is 8600 so combined I am well over 10,000 GVWR
I cut them very easily with a jig saw. You have to brace it on a bench so your cutting close to the edge of the bench other wise it just vibrated and doesn't cut.
Sorry, no pic yet they are in the TT and it's raining cats and dogs out. Here is what I used.
Took an office chair floor protector (Clear plastic chair mat with gripper teeth on the bottom) I cut two 6" wide x 36" for the slide to glide on when closing. Worked great!!! Put them in place and the didn't move an inch. Should save a bunch of carpet wear and marks.
My shower pan on the inside where the wall overlaps at the bottom seems to have a bead of caulk that is really not connecting the two together. Should I re-caulk so the bottomof the shower wall is sealed and attackeh t the pan. Wasn't sure if theis is supposed to be sealed as oneor left open...
Yea, just a real bummer. Brand new and spring time RV season. I won't see it back untill end of summer. What was the reason I did this to my self again/???
There are slotted cut outs in the frame at the top and bottom. Most at the top have a cheap rubber plug or tab inserted but a couple of those are missing. Why in the world would there be any holes at the top in the first place??
Thanks for the info. I have a new trailer that looks to be rubbing the carpen in that spot when it closes and opens. You can see the trail from the slide opening and a spot on the carpet where the carpet looks like someone is standing on it and doing the twist. Any ideas? It also feels...
New North Trail first camping trip and first night we get rain. We ended up watching water pool in the window seals on the inside and stuffing them with paper towls to keep it from filling. The water was pooling in the inside window seals on all three sides, coming from only the windows that...
