That is correct, Ford doesn't include the plug in warm weather states. Aftermarket is lots cheaper. Seems like you have plenty of aptitude to install it. Should only take 15-20 min.
My dealer suggested running it the last 1/2-1 hr from your destination if your heading somewhere really hot like the desert. That way the a/c and refer have a head start when you arrive. I haven't done it, but thought it a good idea.
The 0-60 time on the Ford seems awfully slow, I know mine (unladen) rips to 60 much quicker than 12 sec.!! How much other info is inaccurate? For all three trucks!
Sun City Trailers in Colorado Springs gets a 5 from me. When shopping, they answered all questions without hesitation. They even offered to bring in another model from the factory for us to compare with!
Pricing was upfront and competitive. They also offered competitive financing right...
Picked up my 3795 last June. After delivery, I noticed that the garage door was sticking. A few of the bolts that attach the hinges to the lower frame piece were loose. I tried to tighten them and they just spun. Are these backed with a nut, or are they drilled into the base?
I have a 3795 also, and I'm pulling it with a SRW truck. I'm pushing the limits when I load it with water and toys. That trailer should be pulled by a dually(not trying to preach). The 450 actually has heavier axles and wheels than the 350.
Assuming you are getting the 5500, depends on the load-

no a/c, both a/c's, tv, micro, etc.
I discovered why my Olevia remote wasn't working after picking up my trailer. The safety/tie down strap covers the "eye" and keeps the remote from working. Unbuckle the strap and Bingo it works! A little embarasssing even though I was alone.
