Why do you need these? My dodge squats to level with my 5000lbs hitch weight. With these my back end would be 5" higher then the front end towing.

We had carpet but we put a runner the length of the slide over the lip to reduce the sharpness of it. You should be able to do the same. For the no carpet I'd get carpet squares and glue them down.

We used the stock mattress for two years. Then ordered a sleep number from a sleep number store. 90 days later no mattress and the sleep number store said they would have to reorder. After canceling that order we went with a sealy mattress and haven't looked back.
