2013 37QB Bunk Room Fix and Hidden Storage

Thanks for the tip Dan. I had never considered what is behind the TV area in back, but likely is a lot of wasted space as you indicate. We do have an outlet on that back panel but guessing that could be relocated very easily. I'll check it out. Always looking for more storage area.

    Purchasing a 2015 Heartland Oakmont 375QB

RBradbury, just curious if you pulled the trigger on that new 375QB? We currently have a '15 Silverado 37QB which should be a very similar model as what you are looking at. I think the Oakmont has a few more bells and whistles but I'm very happy with our purchase. If you have any specific...

Can a Honda EU7000is power both AC units on Silverado 37QB

You are exactly right HornedToad. The adapter you are showing in the 3rd picture is exactly what I was looking at on Amazon. I do apologize again for misleading info at the beginning. I just needed to look a little closer at the stinking plugs on the unit. I did find the manual for the unit...

Can a Honda EU7000is power both AC units on Silverado 37QB

Branson4020 and HornedToad you guys have it exactly right. If I actually understood this from the beginning you guys suggested right away just to use the 4-prong outlet with an adapter, flip the switch to the 120/240v (not the 120v only) and go! I read a bunch of stuff last night on how to...

Can a Honda EU7000is power both AC units on Silverado 37QB

When I say select between 120/240 I'm referring to the switch on the lower left of this picture.

Can a Honda EU7000is power both AC units on Silverado 37QB

The OP is me, I was the one questioning you on that. Correct that I want to pull 50amp to run 2 AC units. I feel like a MAJOR horses-azz as I have been leading everyone astray with incorrect info. I thought both receptacles were the same 30AMP 3-plug outlets. I made an honest mistake by...

Also, I did talk to Honda. The rep wasn't all that helpful. He said call the camper manufacturer.

Can a Honda EU7000is power both AC units on Silverado 37QB

When you say "into that socket" are you referring to the 30AMP receptacle on the right that has the 120/240 option? And if so, put it on the 240 selector? Won't that 'overload' those little 30amp spades? I suppose they wouldn't make the adapter if it did, but I'm still leary on this thing...

Can a Honda EU7000is power both AC units on Silverado 37QB

Again, I'm very uneducated when it comes to this, but don't I want to avoid hooking in to 220v? I thought that fried appliances?

Can a Honda EU7000is power both AC units on Silverado 37QB

Thank you wdk450, Jim.Allison, HornedToad forthe replies! I will check with Honda to see if I can get a straight answer. Jim.Allison, I do like the Onan setup but don't really utilize a generatorenough to justify it. I actually wasgiven this generator, so I didn’t even buy this one. I’m...

Can a Honda EU7000is power both AC units on Silverado 37QB

Right off thebat, sorry if this is a bad question. I searched some of the generatorthreads and Googled a few phrases but didn't come up with anything. Lets just say I'm not an electrician, but hopefully I can explain thisaccurately. I have a Honda EU7000is generator. It was not purchased for...

    Low-hanging underbelly

Thank you all for your input, glad I am not missing a bunch of sealant. I did add a couple screws to that area but will still probably put a hole or two in the coroplast for remaining water, then monitor it this weekend.

    Low-hanging underbelly

Is your coroplast sealed to the frame? Mine is definitely not. Maybe the foil insulating layer is somewhere above it but my coroplast is not. Just some self-tapping screws with large washers are holding it to the bottom of the frame. Curious what others have?

    Low-hanging underbelly

PegMikeF, I haven't looked for my tank overflows yet. Murry135, the water in my underbelly was in front of the axels, and it was exactly where it was hanging down where a couple screws had broke off in front of the tires. Looks like they were that way from factory. We pulled home in a snow/rain...

    Low-hanging underbelly

Thanks all for your help. Bob&Patty, the weather isn't all that great right now but supposed to warm up close to 60 this weekend so we're going on our maiden voyage with the new camper. I'm hoping I'm not repairing leaky lines but will deal with it then.

    Low-hanging underbelly

Good point, if there is a leak it will keep dripping. I'll pop a hole with the drill or maybe just use a utility knife to cut a little slot. Only reason I hesitated on that was the foil-looking insulation piece. I guess one little hole won't hurt. Thanks everyone, I'll let you know.

    Low-hanging underbelly

I'm hoping it's not a leak but certainly could be I guess. The dealer said they tested all the water lines but doubtful they would have caught this. The part that was hanging down a bit is right in front of the tires which is why I suspected it was rain. There would be a ton of water splashing...

    Low-hanging underbelly

I suppose most of you reading that title thought I had a personal problem.. Just had a quick question regarding the underbelly of the camper. Our 37QB has a black "ribbed" panel that runs the length of the camper underneath. After looking closer at it this weekend there were a couple bolts that...

    Picked up new 37QB

We picked up our 2015 Silverado 37QB yesterday. Had a nice little 3hr drive to get used to pulling the 5th wheel. I sure like how they handle the wind better than our old travel trailer. Can't wait to get out for the first time. I tried to attach a couple picts.

We also just ordered a new 37QB to replace our travel trailer. Excited is an understatement. Hopefully will be ready to pick up in April. How are you liking your's so far?

    New 38QBS and 365QBS

I immediately liked the 38QBS, but was also turned off by the lack of storage in the rear bunk area. The 365QBS is out because it does not have the 2nd outside door to the bathroom. I was told these big 5th wheel campers are limited by square footage. Someone with more knowledge would know...

    New bighorn owner

Did you ever get the camper home? How did it pull? We have a couple 37QBs that came in fairly locally but both have the Platinum exterior color. I was really hoping to get a white exterior to match the truck, but would like to see the Platinum in person. Curious what color you got?

    New bighorn owner

I've also been looking at the 36TB, 37QB, and the Sanpiper 365saq I think it was. Just looking for a quad-bunk, outside kitchen, and extra 1/2 bath with 2nd outside door. The 37QB has the door on the side as well. Sounds like you have a long drive ahead but well worth it in the end. I agree they...

Congrats on the new 36TB. We are looking for the same model or a 37QB. Can I ask what swayed you to the 36TB? Not trying to derail your thread, just curious. thanks!

    New from SD

Hello all. Just a quick post to say hello and thanks for all the info on this site. I've joined to gather some info on the BigHorn Silverado 37QB. Im not sure if most people don't like this lineup, but I've read a few posts that say the Silverado is dragging down the name of the other Bighorn...
