My 2015 Ford F-250 6.7 came with upfitter switches and I currently am not using them for anything. I was wondering - what are some possible/interesting uses you all have found for these. I'm always "tinkering" around and am trying to think of some good uses for these switches.

Thanks for the comment rjr6150/Randy. I will admit I do miss the stability of the DRW but the difference in the SRW is not huge (and I added airbags for leveling). Plus, my wife uses this truck for a daily driver and despised having to park the DRW in the lower 40 at Walmart :)

Understand. I guess I lucked up and had mine pretty close the first time I installed. I only had to do minor adjustments. All 4 points of mine are now adjusted so that when they are in the locked position, the arms are snug due to the locking T under the bed fitting tight.

Hmmm...that's weird. Must be a difference in the systems. Mine out of the box is less than 30 minutes to have locked in the truck and then all there is left to do is pin my slider hitch to it...just a couple of minutes.

Update – cleaned all 4 wheel assemblies and I now have a much better condition. ALSO, in my 2015 Ford F-250 6.7 I found a Trailer Brake Output setting…Low, Medium and High. It was on low. I switched it to High and now even better results.

I pulled all four wheels last night. All 4 magnets and the surface area on the hub where the magnet drags had a slight film. However, the brake pads were in good shape, no grease on pads, springs and workings were in good shape. Makes me think some of you were correct...maybe someone along...

I did have the drums off. This did not appear to be fresh grease; it appeared to have been there for a while. My next steps tonight will be to pull the wheels back off and clean thoroughly with brake cleaner hoping they are salvageable (I have a camping trip planned close by this weekend)...

Thanks all for the good advise. I watched a youtube video on replacement. They also replaced the whole assembly instead of trying to change out individual parts. Looked like a very simple repair.

My guess is, that because they worked better when I bought it last year, it will turn out to be a brake adjustment. I didn't know the part about not having self-adjusters on 2011 models. I will try adjusting the brakes this weekend.
