Kitchen Slide popping fuses and wont open

I had this same issue on my Torque 321 and as others have said it sounds like you have a short such as a wire that has rubbed through the covering and is touching metal causing it to pop the fuse. If you can get the slide out far enough find the wiring harness that is under the slide and make...

    Torque 321 switch question

I would need to see a picture to confirm, but I have the same camper just a couple years earlier. The middle one should be your living room lights, the one on the right should be your door entry light and the one on the left is your awning lights. You have to roll out the awning to see them...

    Sink cover

We have a 2017 Torque 321 and looked everywhere for a sink cover to fit. Heartland would not make this for us so we purchased the counter top material from heartland then took to a local counter top shop to make covers. They made templates and cut us out 1 full cover and a 1/2 cover. Now they...

    Newbie Refrigerator Questions

I agree with Lynn1130 and no way would I load food in a hot fridge even with frozen jugs, ice, etc. It would take a lot to cool and maintain 40 degrees or cooler which is the FDA recommended temp for a refrigerator. In Georgia it takes a good 24 hours or longer for our refrigerator to cool off...

    McKinnley COE Ga

We like McKinney Campground, but just be very aware of site length and location when choosing your site. Some of the roads can be narrow and the sites tight/sloped to get into depending upon the length of your camper. If you have never been there before I suggest you arrive during day light to...

    North Georgia area camping.

Stone Mtn. is a very good park especially in the Orange and Purple sections. You should be able to do Snow Mountain as well in February. This is tubing down the viewing lawn on man made snow. It is fun when it is cold enough.

    Sink covers for Edge 357ed

Not sure about the Edge, but we bought a Torque and it also did not come with sink covers. You can buy a large cutting board and trim it to fit. I ordered the countertop material and took to a local countertop shop who measured and cut it down to size. I was able to get one full cover and 1/2...

    Cooking/eating

We use our stove and oven every trip to cook. Typically we travel with friends so we actually eat better camping then we do at home. We do prep some meals at home to make it easier when at our campsite. We also usually cook biscuits, desserts and some meals in the oven and certainly use the...

    How to find seasonal sites?

Thank you for the replies. I have done a little more searching and found a couple of locations. One is called Crossing Creek in GA and the other is Lake Osprey in AL. I will continue to search for RV resorts like these. I emailed both locations and am waiting to hear back from them on how...

    How to find seasonal sites?

My wife and I are not close to retirement yet, but are starting to think about the future. One idea we have is have our RV parked somewhere in the Southeast US (Northern Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina or South Carolina) during the summer then have a small home somewhere like the panhandle...

    Torque Kitchen Drawer Catch

While getting ready for our trip last week our top kitchen drawer stuck when I tried to open it. I looked for anything blocking the drawer, but nothing was in the way. It appears that the catch underneath the drawer had an issue opening so when I pulled harder the hook potion of the latch...

    Boss System Help!

You have to go into the settings and find the fade and balance section. Use the fade to change the speakers to the inside only by moving the setting. I cannot recall which way you have to go with the fade, but you will know shortly after moving the setting.

    Labor Day

This is when the camping starts to get very nice at least in the Southeast. We love camping off and on all the way until December.

Power awnings...to lash down, or not

One thing to note here is the pitch/slope of your awning. Some of the newer awnings do not have much pitch even when adjusted so if you get a heavy rain they may not dump correctly. If this happens you can break your awning. Just a word of caution as I have seen it happen.

    Sticky or stuck ramp!

Are your cables attached to the ramp when you are opening it? On our Torque we found that the pins can hit the frame if attached while closing or opening.

    Bunk Ladder

The Torque units do not come with a bunk ladder. I bought the Stromberg Carlson ladder and connected it to the bunk. You will need to measure which size you will need and then order on Amazon or Camping World.

    Slideout toppers

I am not sure about your particular model trailer, but we have a 2017 Torque and our dealer added slide toppers on their lot after delivery. To date we have not had any issues. Also they told me that around slides there is enough framing material to attach the slide topper brackets and other...

Cell service - Should I stay or should I go?

We have Verizon and I got a deal with them where we got 12 GB of data and 2 GB bonus plus any rollover data. I pay with taxes, phone, insurance, etc. around $150/month. You need to check Verizon' plans again because you can get an 8GB plan with rollover data or $70 plus $20 for each...

    New Owner Training Programs??

Thank you for all the responses to this inquiry. I was asking the question to see if there was a need for this in the market. For me I have learned from owner forums, You Tube and from fellow campers and the Heartland forum has been a wealth of knowledge. It appears most new campers would not...

    New Owner Training Programs??

This is just an observation/question so if this has been discussed before I apologize, but could not find it in the forum covering this topic exactly. It seems with the number of new RV owners that are joining the camping boom there would be a need for more in depth “training” or “instruction”...

    Baggage Door Gas Spring

Well this past weekend my gas spring locked up on the front baggage door and ripped out the bracket from the wall inside. I have ordered a new gas spring, but am trying to find a good solution on how to reattach the bracket to the wall. I could move it slightly but have done that once before...

Ramp Door Wear and Unknow Anchor

I have a 2017 Torque 321 and this past weekend while unloading our golf cart I noticed that the bars that hold the door closed are starting to wear into the metal door frame. Is this normal? Also on the back of the camper on each side of the frame there is what looks like an anchor to hook...

    Portable Heating Options

We live in North Georgia and use a Lasko portable heater purchased off of Amazon. We can set it to 60 or 65 at night and then set the camper Furnace just above that. Very rarely will the small portable heater not keep the camper nice and toasty.

    2017 Torque 321 - Couch Slide

I have emailed Heartland directly, but am also looking for feedback from other Torque owners. We have 2017 Torque 321 and it appears that the couch slide does not extend all the way due to the bracket. Also we can see the bracket and cable. Is this correct? Do others have this same issue...

    Electrical Shock while washing RV

I agree that even below 48V is too much. I am going to try the GFI option and also am going to buy a new dog bone adapter. I would think that the EMS would detect, but I need another one to keep in the camper. It only occurs when the converter is on.

    Electrical Shock while washing RV

Great feedback and I am at the end of my testing as any next steps is beyond my level of expertise. I will try plugging into a GFCI outlet to see what happens. My suspicion is that nothing will happen. Given all the remarks about the non contact tester I may actually be getting some false...

    Electrical Shock while washing RV

All the appliances were off during my test. The ground green wire is secure on my Progressive HW-50. I think it I very low voltage. I will be at a campground later this week and am going to check with a multimeter to see if I can detect the amount of voltage on the chassis. This is just...
