Unfortunately this will be the only one for us this year as travel plans don't allow for others. We...

2015 cyclone dry rotted speakers already !

If I was to take a guess, I assume you mean the cone is separating from the sides and curling in towards the center or out towards you, yes? Ours did the same last year, we called Customer Service and they replaced for free even way out of warranty. You may want to give them a shout, can't hurt...

Towing a cyclone 4000 with a short bed SRW

Hey Fordfxr, I don't know your specific 250 build, but according to the Ford guide your 5th wheel capacity is 14,100-14,700. The 2016 prototype for our 4000 suggested a dry weight of 14,100. Well, it actually ended up around 15,200. Once we put fuel, water, etc. on board, we were over with our 1...

New Heartland owner - now new truck...advice?

Have been on both ends of this. We used to tow with a 2006 Dodge (oooops, is one still allowed to say that?) well, before they were Fiats, LOL......a 2006 Dodge 2500 Hemi. We towed a 27ft tow behind toy hauler. The truck was at it's max capacity weight wise. We would tow the...

    Hooray, I am now legal!!!!

I seldom respond to these threads as they typically go the disrespectful route through a war of words where offense is taken and people end up not acting their age. Kudos to all here for not doing so. 26k is a national weight governed by the NHTSA. Each state must abide by the standards...

    Batteries not charging on generator

As Mr Dan can attest to, I just been through this last month. Do not discount the connections in the junction box beside the gen, by all means start there first. Undo/redo them and then move to testing each leg on the contactors at the transfer switch.

    Tpms

TST 507. Have had 2 bad sensors and they replaced both free of charge; even shipped me the one prior to me returning the broken one. Great company. Have repeater wired down stream from cutoff. Would buy again but I have no experience with any other brand.

New Super Duty, new Cyclone, new hitch - what could go wrong?

2 seconds between light displays on a signal cycle would mean this road has a 20 mile speed limit. Given two lanes with a white dashed line I highly doubt the posted limit is 20 mph. If a 2 second cycle is correct, the short cycle would provide inadequate time between perception/reaction...

Unfortunately having been down this road, it is not easy as the road did not end up where I thought it would. God Bless Mr John.

Thanks Mr Gary, I thought Chevy introduced those settings as well.

    Disc actuation with 2015 3500/F-450

Agree with all on the advantages and a certain amount of expected delay with both electric and hydraulic. My hopes were with the new DIC settings on newer models and the absence of the adapter, it would improve (albeit slight). Thanks again.

    Disc actuation with 2015 3500/F-450

Thanks all. I have no huge complaints about the system; however, the time it takes for the pads to contact the rotors is definitely longer with the hydraulics than my previous electrics. I understand the setup is different and with the introduction of an actuator in between there is a response...

    Disc actuation with 2015 3500/F-450

We are looking at newer model TV’s and I am seeking input from those owning a 2015-2016 Silverado 3500 or F-450 and are running disc brakes via a BrakeRite actuator. A little disclaimer: I am not interested in stirring up the tribes on who’s truck is better here as I have no interest in this...

    HELP Please

Ok, I have no shame and will be the first to tell on myself so don't laugh too hard with me. On the cold dark evening of the power failure I physically opened the junction box between the gen and transfer and was about to undo and redo the wiring nuts when I said to myself, "self" the wiring...

    HELP Please

Spot on Mr Dan. I typed it backwards, L1 was 2.3v, L2 was 119v. Sorry. I learning here, can you explain why some things should work if it was opposite? I understand the incoming two prongs but what's the difference down stream in wiring? Thanks again for your help the other night. Was in the...

    HELP Please

Well after testing the gen contactor, the Hot 1 from the gen is 119V, Hot 2 only 2.3V. I contacted the Cummins Service Center I’ve always dealt with and they said bring in to them, it’s still under warranty. Dropped it off today.

    roof staining

Tx and I have both been through this, you can find our history on the threads via search, please look them up as I think they'll help you. In my case, Dan is correct, Simple Green or Mean Green from Walmart removed the stains and is what Heartland Service Center used. No new roof needed. Oil...

2016 Cyclone 4200 Water Pump Location

Don't hold me to this, but I think the kit is just with the small Allen wrench included. Call the Anderson Brass Company, they will send you a new one for free. With your year, make and model they'll know what to send you. The valve will come prelubed. The Anderson Valve is a weak point in the...
