Well, we have been working with ours and it is still a pain.
We have had limited success with doing all the following.
1. Use convection feature.
2. Put in a pizza stone. We often put the stone on the top rack above the food we are cooking.
3. Rotate the food when about half done.
4. Take notes...
Our landmark phoenix has a single electric oven that acts the same way. The wife hates it. So do I. I don't know who thought a stove with heat elements only on the top would work. HEAT RISES.
We have a tried a pizza stone. We tried using different racks. WE got a slightly better results in the...
Furrion Chef collection electric oven. Our new landmark Phoenix has one of these ovens. Its electric and we are burning things before they get done internally. For example brownies are burnt on the outside and not done in the middle.
The book is useless. It appears this oven has a convection...
Apologies in advance if this is too basic.
Undo your external cable completely.
Then place a short on one end of the external cable, with it still not connected..
Go to the other end of the external cable. Measure across the center to outer connectors with the ohmmeter and verify you get a...
Some comments.
1. I have found loose connections on the back of the plugs at the wall.
2. If you have the style with 4 connections in the UDC for satellite, I have found the back side connections to be loose there also.
3. In my new landmark they actually had two of these cables swapped...
Richard and Clara McInnis
We are coming! Got our reservations yesterday.
Arrive 4/16. Leave 4/21.
Put us down for one XL and one 2XL tshirt.
We haven't seen many AL or MS people since we went Full Time in July 2018.
Our site number is 26.
After getting your suggestions, I tried again and used a little more force. It worked. Note that it does not click like my old one did. Thanks for the help. As stated below, after the first usage , it moved easier.
I got ny new anderson valve today in the mail. I won't get a chance to install it for a while, but I saw something that confuses me. After I took it out of the box I tried to turn the water selector switch. I can't get it to switch out of the CITYFIXTURES/DRYCAMPING POSITION. Any thoughts on...
I am in Terrell right now and am having the exact same problem with my crank up antenna. Of course its raining again. It is not a big leak. I put the antenna down and turned it to the stow position. For now its not leaking. I guess I will have to go up and check mine when the weather gets better.
We really enjoyed the rally. Well done. My own special thanks to those who worked on my trailer. I can't imagine what would have happened if that big bolt had fallen off.
Clara and I just signed up. We arrive on Thursday the 15th and stay a week.
Yes we do want the base tour if its not too late to sign up.
Looking forward to it.
WOW!
That's my exact RV; even including the full body paint color.
We got ours on Dec 26 of 2015. We have probably spent 90 nights in it and are very happy with it.
Thanks everybody for the advice. I went to a different rv dealer today and he had an adapter fitting that would allow the Heartland supplied material to work.
I installed it and all is well.
Yes, I sent them several pics.
I think I will go to town on Monday and try some of the suggestions people made. The good places are closed on Saturday.
The first shipment sent me a pigtail hose and a regulator. The outflow side of the regulator fits to the hose going to the other side. But the pigtail would not connect to the inflow side of the regulator. The fittings are not mates.
The second shipment was a big shipment with parts such as one...
I have a 2016 Bighorn 3760EL which I just love.
However I smelled propane the other day and tracked it down to a leaky regulator.
Since it is still in warranty, I contacted Heartland and they have twice sent me repair parts. These two parts deliveries still haven't provided the correct part to...
I want to determine the right way to connect my Honda EU2000i to my Bighorn rv in case of a power failure.
I have a residential fridge and two 12 volt batteries in parallel in my rig.
At home, I keep most things turned off in the rv and keep the rv working and plugged in by using a 50 amp to 30...
Rodger and Judy:
Don't let my previous ac comment scare you away!
We absolutely love our new Bighorn 3760el. This is our sixth trailer and it seems to be built much better built and designed than the ones we have had previously. We especially like the layout of this model.
My ac comment was...
Glad to hear you have a 3760EL. We picked up a new 2016 Bighorn 3760EL in December in Kansas and love it. I have learned some things on mine that may help you. The Air Conditioner operation may need to be watched closely. We are in Laceys Spring, just south of Huntsville. Private message me and...
For Bighorn 3760 EL owners. I spent some time looking at my rig with a flashlight and a cell phone camera to look down the duct work.
I haven't had a good chance to test the ac on a really hot day yet but on a medium hot day the units seemed to work harder than they should.
Its a two AC trailer...
Clara and I had a great time visiting with everyone. The balloon glow was a new experience and was nice to see. Thanks a bunch to everyone who worked on the rally. Now I need to figure out how to change my luck in the drawings, or in powerball. I also picked up a few trailer tricks from others...
Re: EVENT: Heartland Chapter Rally: AL, Gulf SHores - 5/6/2016 to 5/8/2016
The Coopers sent me a convincing message about the rally. We will be there! Reservation was just made. Site 18 -Arriving Thursday 5th, Leave Monday the 9th.
The SE regional rally was really great.
We just got home to Alabama. We had a great time and this was our first rally. We met lots of nice people and picked up quite a few tips. Thanks to all the organizers and to the vendors. We will be attending more rallys.
