Gina and I are due to arrive Thursday. We are coming from the east and Google shows a route across 80 and coming down 11 & 15. The other route is 81 and taking 325 & 22. Does anyone know is one better than the other when dragging the camper along ? There is a route across 78 however there is a...
Applied for the "minor service" work to be done.
Not a big deal if it doesn't get done by Heartland at the rally.
It is something I have to do regardless and will if Heartland doesn't.
I registered us promptly at 1. The registration process was simple (especially after reading the invitation email). I had composed a list of 7 potential sites that were of interest and we were able to book choice number 3. As of today we are coming in Monday however I could see us changing that...
Correct the slide limited us as to what we could do.
We really like this camper and I'd say the bedroom layout is one of the few things we don't care for. With that said it isn't like we dance around the bedroom so it isn't a big deal.
Yes he made it home to Indiana.
With the T32 I would roll the carpet up half way and it would act as a buffer on the floor to keep anything away from my saddlebags. The new bike sits higher so this will be less of an issue.
Will there be walk-in attendance?
It may seem odd I ask this however I drove through the fair grounds a few weeks ago and I found very few sites that I'd pay for. I suspect by the time registration opens these spots will have already been taken. No worries. I've considered looking into...
Our late year 2017 427 has an odd bump out on the floor alongside the bed that makes it tough to get around the bed. I made a filler panel to help make it easier to walk along the bed side. If it works as we'd like it to I'll carpet it.
I cut our 427 queen frame down to a RV queen (neither of us are big people). This gave us roughly another 6" of space to manuver around the bed. I'll have to snap a picture of the cut frame.
I didn't care for how our 427 didn't have a piece of carpet that covered the entire floor surface area like our T32 did. I picked up a piece of 12x8 carpet from Home Depot with bound edges. I took a bunch of measurements and transferred them to the carpet. Measure twice and cut once. The carpet...
Thank you Duane as I appreciate the input. Knowing there are sites that will work for me I will keep on this and call opening day of registration. We definitely would like to attend the rally. I hadn't given any thought to arriving early, maybe that is something we should look into.
Duane you've mentioned this before to me. My answer is still the same, that doesn't work for me. With what I am charged for a site at any campground it needs to suit my needs. Am I suppose to pull my camper out each night should I choose to load my bike into the camper? I'm not trying to be...
Thank you for the reply.
Unloading prior to unhooking is not an option for us. My bike is long and low and needs every inch of front jack height to unload.... And with some sites that's not enough... 🙄
Out of curiosity are there hookups in the sites?
Does anyone make a decent cover for the raised Furrion 3 burner stove top?
I found the universal cover available from Camco however I would like something a little better if available.
Gina and I will be there the 12th-14th. As of now site S1 up front, I'll call tomorrow to see what else may be available. We may forgo bringing the motorcycle which would allow the use of a smaller site.
Thank you all for the warm welcome and hospitality. Gina and I enjoyed meeting and spending time with everyone. We are already looking forward to our next HCR.
We're checking our calendar to see if the dates work for us. October looks good as of now. We'll know Sunday Eve/Monday.....
We're not event attendees yet however event sweatshirts are nice.....
Heartland emailed me to let me know that they submitted a claim with Dometic.
Lets see how long this all takes.
It is definitely different than the field I'm in. My manufacture would have warrantied the part on the spot than they would take it to the vendor. I think it is odd that the vendor...
New motor will be here tomorrow, two days from phone call to arrival.
Warranty claim, still waiting to hear back.
This is why I just ordered a new motor outright. I suspect I'll have the motor installed and hopefully the AC running before my warranty claim gets moving....
Hard start Supco...
Called Dometic, no tech per say however listened to me and agrees it sounds like a motor. Ordered a motor on my dime. I'll have it in a few days.
Called Heartland, great service rep. Went through everything with him. They are sending me a warranty claim form. If all is good I'll end up with a...
That sounds plausible to me.
I did a search and was able to come up with a motor part number.
I'll call Dometic, Heartland and the closest dealer to me tomorrow morning.
Worse case scenario I'll buy a motor.
2017 Torque XLT T32, 50 AMP 2 AC's, appears one (main) is "ducted" and one (garage) isn't. Brisk 2 B59516.711JO
The main AC will click on with the thermostat. Sometimes it will run as it is suppose to. Sometimes it will run for awhile than stop blowing cold air than it starts humming...
