OMG, I would not be a happy camper... So frustrated as we have had many, many issues with our 5th wheel. It seems like somebody upstairs is telling us something... I'm not listening.

Thanks Jim, it was the little valve in the shower that you would switch off to conserve the hot water while showering. that is the only thing we can think of as our little fella went to take a shower the next morning and said there was no water, he turned the valve on and the water started again.

A few weeks ago we left our unit for about 1 and a half hours and when we returned we were wondering where the water on the road was coming from. As we approached our beautiful Sundance we could see that water was pouring out of it... Cleaned up all the water for a very long time and then...

We have had numerous leaks in our Sundance, in which they replaced the wood molding around the slide as it was all bowed. Since then we have had another MAJOR leak where the wood has bowed once again and the carpet was soaked (it smells like dirty socks)... They seem to think we have a small...

Egg Cartons work really well. Not the styrofoam ones, the other ones. Just light them and blow out the flame and let the smoke make those little buggers dissapear.

The same thing happened to us, we had to have the whole wooden casing on the slide replaced at the wood swelled at the bottom of it. It must have been leaking for quite some time in our unit (same as yours- 2998 RB).

is not attached to it? We always see trailers with those little orange lights on and it looks awesome. Is there a switch or do you have to do some fancy wiring to get them on?

Oh Babyhorsie, that sounds familiar... When we first got our 2998 delivered, we were opening it up in our driveway, we pushed the buttons for the slide, the cupboard above the entertainment(on the left) was open a bit and it hooked on to the side of the slide ... It was taking the door right...

It was parked just down a few from us, drove by a few times but did not see anyone. Think we saw a Bighorn, was not sure.(It was too far and did not have my eye seeing glasses on). It looked like it was being hawled by a transport. :DCould it be?

We have our Sundance set up on a lot for the rest of the summer... When I am up in the fifth wheel and someone is in the living room or even in the bunk room, I can feel the vibrations. The trailer shakes or wiggles. When my son was sleeping the other night, when he rolled over I could feel it...

I found ours in the back, I bent down and looked under the step... It is to the left of it a bit. Looking at the step it is around 10 oclock if you can picture the step being a clock.

Our 09 2998 rb is the one on the left, the jacknife sofa. Our's was just built on June 14/2008, I was hoping for the Gaucho bed but got the jacknife. Oh well...

I bet you can't wait for yours to arrive babyhorsie... We are so happy with ours. My 9 year old fell out of the bunk on the weekend, quite a drop. Luckily he went into the fetal position in his descent and did not hurt himself, needless to say he slept the remainder of the evening on the floor...

We left the lights on above our bed for about 1 hour (the little black reading lights), when I went to turn them off *#?&*$% OUCH :eek:, they were so hot. Should I be concerned at all about any electrical problem or do they generally get that hot? Any comments very much appreciated...

I'm just so excited for our new 5th wheel!!! Can you please tell me the true lenght of the 2009 2998 Sundance, is it 34 feet or is it 29 feet (as it says on the little sticker thing posted by the door). I know they say these days that you shouldnt go by that sticker. Thanks

Does anybody know about these matresses? When you turn the dial to inflate, do you have to turn the knob once you think it is all inflated or will it stop once it is completed? And is it the same as when you deflate it? I'm scared of it blowing up if it has too much air.
