The cold-water inlet I referred to, was the inlet on the bottom of the water heater. It is made of plastic, so have it checked to see if the same issue.

Our stairs are on the driver's side. The water heater on the passenger's side. The cold-water inlet had cracked, and the water ran across to settle at the foot of the stairs. This caused an issue and we had to have the floor replaced in that area.

In our Road Warrior, close to the sink in the garage area is a GFCI. If not there look in the bathroom area in the garage if you have one.

I would look at the seals again. If possible, post some pics of the area. Also, look at the area where the side wall and bottom of slide join to see if there are any gaps there.

When I need to work on the transfer switch, water pump, I need to lay on top of the batteries to access things behind the wall.

2018 Road Warrior 427, toy hauler. The original batteries were up front, but when we went to a solar system, had to relocate to side. Just not enough room where the old setup was located.

Our lithium batteries are in the passenger side basement area. I leave a section of the rear down, so heat can get in the area.

Go and get an inspection camera and run up there to see if you can locate the drain. I found one at Menard's for $30.00 and it has become a handy tool for such research.

Do you have anything in the breaker box for the rig working on solar only? If you unplug shore power what is working on solar?

The drain plug should be threaded. It could be plastic as well. If it is plastic I always change it whenever I drain the water heater. Once you remove the drain plug, then you open the pop-off vent on the upper corner to help vent the water heater and drain faster.
