    front switch not working

To check the converter is charging, find the power leads from the converter. Using a multimeter, read the voltage across the wires to see what this voltage. In case it is not working, on the outside of the converter should be some fuses. Check these to make sure they are okay. Before you remove...

    Black box in the basement

No, it is not "just a display". You can use this to manual level the rig. You can use it to retract/extend front or rear legs or each side (right or left). For example, if you have a flat tire, you can use this panel to rise that side to change the tire. Also, if a leg does not fully retract...

    Black box in the basement

Do you have a Lippert Level-Up leveling system installed? It looks like the control panel for that system. Push the small button to turn on, and see what the screen looks like.

    Fresh water tank vent

The cold-water inlet I referred to, was the inlet on the bottom of the water heater. It is made of plastic, so have it checked to see if the same issue.

    front switch not working

Was that 12.9 with shore power hooked in? I would say a battery issue.

    Fresh water tank vent

Our stairs are on the driver's side. The water heater on the passenger's side. The cold-water inlet had cracked, and the water ran across to settle at the foot of the stairs. This caused an issue and we had to have the floor replaced in that area.

    Garage bed

Our bed did this once. On the rear ceiling in the corner is a control box. Check and make sure the connections are in place tight. One of the wires had come out, just a little, but enough to keep it from working. Also, you may want to check the 12VDC fuse. If none of this helps, you will need...

2009 North Trail 21fbs mystery button??!!

No way to know if it is factory installed or by a previous owner. So, a question, did a previous owner install an inverter for outlets?

Garage floor receptacle, and outside receptacle have no power.

A GFCI should be around a water source. So, start in the main bathroom, check around the kitchen area, outside compartments, any outside outlets. If all of these are okay, you will need to find a junction box and start checking connections. A good place to look may be under a slide-out near the...

Garage floor receptacle, and outside receptacle have no power.

In our Road Warrior, close to the sink in the garage area is a GFCI. If not there look in the bathroom area in the garage if you have one.

Bedroom slide out leaking into storage compartment.

I would look at the seals again. If possible, post some pics of the area. Also, look at the area where the side wall and bottom of slide join to see if there are any gaps there.

Cable slide jerking and making noise.

After you check the cables and if these are okay, I believe it is the gear box going bad. We had our go out in Colorado Springs, Co. in 2021. Our slide did the same issue, jerk and made a grinding noise. Finding a gear box in Colorado Springs was almost impossible, but I found a mobile tech...

Boondocking / dry camping with roof air conditioner and all electrical outlets operational? (2024 North Trail 25RBP)

Confused about the statement "I was thinking there was something internal in the RV that separates the AC circuit from the rest"? Kind of is, it is the breaker panel. But if you are thinking another kind of switch, no. What you want is to get the inverter power to the breaker box after...

Boondocking / dry camping with roof air conditioner and all electrical outlets operational? (2024 North Trail 25RBP)

If your North Trail did not come with a generator or the generator prep ready, then there would not be the need for a transfer switch. The transfer switch is to switch from shore pore to generator power if you use the generator. A commonly used transfer switch for the whole rig is a PD52...

Boondocking / dry camping with roof air conditioner and all electrical outlets operational? (2024 North Trail 25RBP)

Do you have anything in the breaker box for the rig working on solar only? If you unplug shore power what is working on solar?

    Drain it

The drain plug should be threaded. It could be plastic as well. If it is plastic I always change it whenever I drain the water heater. Once you remove the drain plug, then you open the pop-off vent on the upper corner to help vent the water heater and drain faster.
