    Electric grills

Shopping for a grill and noticed a lot of electric grills for indoor and outdoor use. Has anyone thought of using an electric grill outdoors for cooking instead of gas? Most of them are easy clean up and you can add flavor by adding wood chips if you like. I even found some that have...

    Poor Heat in the camper.

Now that it has gotten cold, I found out that the heater was really poor at heating the trailer. The bathroom was the hottest room in the camper (cooking) the front bedroom was the next hottest and the mid bunk room got some but was cold and the living room got nothing....... The factory rep...

    Check your slide insulation

I know that this is model specific but this issue could be in other units, so I posted it here. I have a mid bunk Big Horn Traveler 2018 model and have been having many issues, the list is very long and they are slowly getting dealt with but it is becoming very tiring. This is the latest...

    Closet door removal

Does anyone know how to remove the closet doors from the track. It looks like it has clips that you rotate out, but nothing seems to happen. I have a new door to replace the damaged that came with the trailer and I can't figure out how to pull it and I don't want to pull the track assembly...

Some recommendations for the mid-bunk model

Some recommendations for the mid-bunk model. The AC vent in the mid-bunk room, if it works ( mine didn't and was repaired) is practically worthless, no airflow. You should move the vent to the wall behind the entry door with a 4" duct to increase air flow. Add a shelf under the bathroom...

    Calender

I have a suggestion. Is it possible to have an events calendar that shows all of the events for the year. People could add events to it and it would be very easy to see what's happening and make plans to attend. Maybe have links for more information, or to forum discussions.

Started one thread about 39MB issues

This is a consolidation from two threads I started, sewer gas smell and the second on issues. I left a message with the president of Thor and do you think he ever called back? I'll give you one guess, NO. I contacted the dealer who contacted Heartland and they actually called me. The unit...

    Spare tire carrier

Move the spare tire carrier forward behind the axle. Where it is located now, it will hit the ground when exiting driveways. I know it is more difficult to get at if you need the spare, but destroying it on a curb or driveway is worse.

    Sewer gas smell

I found the problem These issues continue on this unit and this is a warning for others to check......... Had a water leak in the basement that was repaired at the dealer when I picked up the camper. The water heater bypass valve was leaking on the back side where the lines connect and was...

Pin height and front trailer height?

I'm picking up my new 39MB traveler around the 29-30th this month and have some questions about the pin height and the height of the front of the trailer when sitting level? If any one has this info it would be great? My truck is an older truck, a Dodge ram 2500, upgraded to a 3500, with 19.5...

    Counter space

The reason I purchased the Traveler 39MB was because a lot of the mid bunk units have the doors to the bunk room entering from the kitchen area, and the 39 MB had it from the hall area. The latter units lacked ample storage and I felt that more storage for the kitchen is required if more people...

    More options

I would like to see more options with the travelers. Axle and brake options pin box options Solar options Larger water tank 47 Gallons makes it nearly impossible to dry camp. Etc.

    Reese Goose Box?

Does anyone have one of these on their trailer? If so how do you like it? I talked with Lippert. They have no issues using this on their trailers and will fully cover it for warranty purposes. That being said, they will not warranty their pin boxes if used with an adapter, including the...

    Height of pin?

I'm a soon to be new owner of a Bighorn Traveler and wanted to know what the height of the pin would be when the trailer is sitting level. I will start shopping for the new hitch and wanted to get an ideal of what height the hitch needed to be in my truck. My truck sits kinda high and I wanted...

Soon to be new owner of a 39MB.

    Dryer question?

Many, many years ago they use to make a dryer that was 220 110. I don't remember who made it, but I do remember that it would switch automatically depending on what it sensed for power. If it only had one circuit of power then it would operate as a 110 dryer, but if power was sensed on the...

Load capacity concerns on the 39mb Bighorn Traveler

I have just ordered an 39mb with dual pane windows and slide toppers and plan on installing a washer dryer. I am very concerned about the available load capacity which will be less than 2000 lbs. Is there any way to increase this? What frame is used on this unit, what is its load capacity...

planning on purchasing a Bighorn next month and have some questions for the factory

I'm looking at the 39MB and would like to know why it doesn't come with an extension table in the dining area? It would seem to me that if the coach is designed to have more people staying in it, then it should be able to accommodate more people at the table easily. It also seems to me that it...
