Radman, Will you be able to watch the race from your site, or on roof of Big Country? Have never been to a race in person, but would like to camp at a track to get the whole Nascar fever thing. Do they have Elect, or water hookups? Where do you go to make site reservations?

The only problem we have had was when voltage drops at some parks when the park fills up. Since installing the Progressive surge protecter, the power is shut off if it gets too low or if it gets to high. Usually only happens on 30 amp service.

landp, check the cross shaft,,,a bolt may have come lose at the end of the shaft, may be laying the floor of the front compartment. If the bolt comes out of one side, it would not work. You should be able to use your slides okay while hooked to the tow vehicle.

I did not install on the front and will not unless I find a problem. My front axles are not overloaded with the Bighorn attached.

I just installed a set of Timbrens rubber springs on my new Dodge 1 Ton Dually because of the squat from the Bighorn. Easy to install and did not have to lift the suspension at all to put them on the 4x4. Great! now the truck is level with the Bighorn attached. :cool:

Al, My Bigorn was prewired,,spent less than 1K for the new A/C,, with no heat strip,,a/c only.

Rubicon, I dont think that removing the closet floor will give you access to the area you want. The front cap is by it self. When mine did that, the dealer went up and resealed with the caulk the front cap and around the pin box. fixed that.

There might be a few dishes broke,,and a little water running thru the camper,,but looks like it is a rugged unit. Note the nerf bars down the front sides and the big skid plate to the rear. The two spare tires. Wonder what there springs look like after the trip.

I did drop the underbelly yesterday in the front section where water was coming from. We have not used the freshwater tank other than to check it during the PDI. We always use city water connection. I will try the bucket method though and see what happens. Thanks

Hoping someone has had this issue and found the cause. After breaking camp from a weeks stay, first stop at entrance to park and water pours out of underbelly to the front. This has happened twice and dealer or myself have been unable to find any leak anywhere in the plumbing. Filled all tanks...

If I could redo my first purchase, it would be to get the dually, you will appreciate it later. My Bihorn 3400 shows 14K from the factory, but all loaded up and ready to roll, it tops 16K. I have a single rear wheel but will buy the dually next. As for brand, all will work with their Heavy Duty...

Uh Oh,,perhaps the switch is wired wrong. Go plug someting in the awning recepticle plug and see if it works with the switch on. If not then turn the w/h switch on and try the plug again. May be that the switches were switched!~
