Sad to see the attendance so low for a National Rally. Unfortunately we have had too many conflicts to attend this time. Eventho I am not in favor of the "New Club", please everyone give them an chance and support this National Rally.
We were so looking forward on coming to this rally but our schedule has changed and we unfortunately can not come. Best of luck with a successful rally.
Wish we could come but this is my 50th (+2) high school reunion weekend. Even tho can't be there for the rally, think we will run over for a week in September. Super nice looking place.
Question - has the calendar tab been updated yet? I don't see any events listed, only see a blank calendar. Also will there be an "event tab"?
In another post Jim, you stated how to find event's but there is no drop-down arrow to pull up the listing of events.
Re: 2021 - Goshen Rally - Deferred
Sad but understandable. Until this virus is under control, folks' health is the main concern at this time. Hope to rally-on in the future. Stay safe everyone.
We have added lexan/plexiglass to our last 4 campers' screen door. Over time and the location of the door, we started adding tint to the lexan to help block the sun but it started bubbling. The next to the last door, we took it off the frame and ran it down to an auto tinting location which...
Oh my, what a rally! Thank you Sue and Paul for hosting this wonderful and fun rally. Great food, fun seeing old friends and making new ones, and exploring the area.
Thank you Hayden and Gigi for a wonderful rally. Eventho COVID restricted the use of the clubhouse, pop-up tents did great, the food was wonderful (hum hum) and everyone had a fun time playing bingo and mexican train. Can't wait til the next NC Rally.
Halloween is here. Some of us are flying sideways and others upside down. Ah well, great time and wonderful food.
PS- can ya delete that first picture??? Someone is doing their usual open month, closed eyes thing.
We also have gone 99.9% electric. Same as above, Nuwave induction cooking, convection oven cooking, CheapHeat and/or fireplace heating, residential refrig and electric hot H20 heating except when we are on 30 amps. Starting 3rd season and still haven't filled either one of the propane tanks yet.
A lot of folks have installed CheapHeat themselves with success. We are not electrically inclined so it cost us about $450 (labor only) to have had the dealership install it for us. It took them about 6-8 hours but completed it in one day.
As I'm starting to pack the camper, was wondering about the potluck. Is everyone being asked to bring a dish to share (which could be a meat dish) or just a side dish? Also, is there going to be a meet/greet? with appetizers? Thanks
We use non-slip shelf liners & stack dishes. When we know we will be on really bumpy roads, will put tervis glasses in basket so I don't get my head bumped when opening cabinet doors.
As with the practice with a lot of campgrounds, campsites aren't assigned for rally folks. This isn't the first time its happened to me and probably wont be the last. I give the campground things I would like to have like satellite site etc but sometimes that doesn't work. They wouldn't give me...
We have decided to stop in Myrtle Beach between NC and GA Rallies for a couple of days. Just booked at Myrtle Beach Travel Park Sunday thru Wednesday morning. Anyone else interested?
One question - what is the maintenance on the RVArmor roofing? With the manufacturer roofing, yearly maintenance is required. If it's the same with this RVArmor roofing, what's the point.
What a great time we all had even tho Hurricane Laura tried to join the party but didn't - YEAH. Thanks everyone for coming, bringing wonderful food and of course seeing/socializing with old friends and making new ones. Hope everyone made it home safely. Prayers for GiGi as she recovers from...
A little FYI for the upcoming campout. Weather might be a little iffy or should I say wet. Two hurricanes coming thru the Gulf this week ain't helping.
For those traveling from the east on I-40. Just before you get into Knoxville, TDOT is doing some major repairs on the Holston River bridge...
