I don't know some states it's legal or not I was "thinking" of pulling my fifth wheel camper and hooking up my car to the back of 34 foot camper a boat behind that reason why my wife can't drive stick and she wants to go to do one thing while I do another thing I'm a class A CDL driver with my...
Re: corrugated plastic under billy issue
the corrugated plastic it's dripping down really bad And Let's a lot of cold air in and I have a hard time getting it to heat up in the winter .
Peace
Dave
I have an 08 cyclone 5th wheel toy hauler it seems that doesn't want to really heat the house but the furnace is always running where is the heat going in my losing it through the under side of the house do I need to pull the underliner down and check the furnace ducts and insulate Would It...
heehee. Nope, the low growling of the engines sorta set them off like PMS.
Just got off the phone with the sister in law (who is going to school to run those fabricating machines) and described it, she said she thinks she could make one as small as it is. Send photos off and will put in mail...
Thanks Bill, we'll try them! I like the idea of getting a shaft fab'd, as we're already getting the slide rails done (as my husband says: it's like they built them to fail -20 holes and only 2 stud bolts in each side).
Have fun and watch out for buffalo more than bears - buffalo in rut are more...
The output shaft on the motor that drives the jacks up and down, on the very rear of the camper, is snapped in half. Called Klauber Machine & Gear Co for replacement part but turns out you have to buy the whole motor assembly, everything. This is the shaft part that goes from gear housing to the...
Thanks for the great mod tips, my husband got one last Fall and he is miserable with it and without it. He likes to sleep on the easy side of the bed but the outlet, etc, is on "my" side. We were planning on building a little shelf or something and he asked me to look up to see what others had done.
I'm not sure what my husband's schedule will be like so we'd literally have to answer last minute. We'd love to come and join you guys for the first time. We're always seeing Heartlands (and Cyclone's) pass us on the road.
Dh and I were at the W. Yellowstone KOA this last week and trailed through Yellowstone into the Grand Tetons in Wyoming. We had tons of fun and we saw LOTS of Heartlands on the road but I only had eyes for Cyclones. haha. Although I think the majority of the vehicles we saw were Montanas.
Other than calling ahead and asking what pet restrictions there are, if you do have 3 almost identical dogs - I don't know that anyone would notice if you took 3 walks with a doggie. Mindful that only you would know that you are taking 3 different dogs for a walk. haha. I'd love that, I'd prob...
let me go measure it now....
okie, the clearance is 94 at the door - remember the ramp makes you loose a lot of space as does the bunks in the full upright they take away almost a foot of space. If you then count in the rest of the bunk area then it too takes about another 6 inches at least...
That's what we plan to do is put up a railing - there's just nothing to hang on to and I'm not a giant but I was too afraid to get in the bunk area because I didn't feel there was enough clearance to get back on the ladder without bowing my body a lot (aka limbo time).
Good resolution to a...
I will definately keep everyone informed and if I find the link will go ahead and refer to it in this thread so those interested can do more research too.
Thanks Bob & Patty, Ray and Deb - especially about being audited without issue~
The tax code simply has not been updated to include 5th...
1. August - carbon monoxide battery died and you could hear it beep every so often. Finally in September, we figured out it was our 5th wheeler and replaced it.
2. Today, we go out to Walmart everything's cool, we come back to earsplitting nonstop pitch coming once again from the 5th wheeler...
we have the smaller 08 Cyclone and with the extended warranty, we pay 473./mn. It cost us around 50,000.00 when we bought it last December. The plates here in WY we found were 653.00 and the sales tax just about killed us with an extra 3000.! Keep that in mind when you finance that there are...
hi we have a 3795 from last year and havent even taken it for a spin yet. We are close enough to you that if you come to play here, let know. We are planning to go snowmobiling a lot this winter in Laramie and Togatee but w/o it. Maybe we can catch up with you there if you play.
Denise
I'm glad to read all this about storage, now I'll have a better chance of not having to hose down things in the garage. Our situation is reversed, DH leaves all the tops off and unscrewed on food.
I am preparing our 2008 taxes and wondering if any 5th wheel owners take the loan interest on their taxes or if they checked prior to taking the interest using the 2nd home/primary home credit? Reading the tax code, our Cyclone 5th will apply as a qualified residence, but it does not expressly...
DOT Point of Entry scales are handy. I go in, smile, and ask if they'll weigh me and after the obvious chuckle I let them know I've got a 5th. Most of the time I just go in one that isn't busy and they like to busy themselves by coming in and looking around, at least in Wyoming.
