    Big Horn ??????

Delaine and Lindy, Ours is a 2007 and we have had very few problems with it. We have not had to take it to our dealer in Knoxville. There was a problem that could have been repaired locally by Lippert, however, we decided to take it to Elkhart for repair by Recreational Specialist. I belive...

    Black Tank ????

Delaine and Lindy welcome to the forum. I just now realized that you are the couple that I had corresponded with via email a few months ago concerning using the 5 lnb while on the road. Your input is what has helped me make a decision to try the 5 lnb when we go full-timing later this year...

Having just having DirectV HD with DVR instslled in our home, I have read a lot about installing satellite receivers. I am assuming that your installation is a satellite receiver and from what I have read, the satellite system does not work very well with a tv cable splitter. I believe that...

    The Sewer Solution

TIP! The last time I used our RV, the blackwater drain would not drain for some reason. After several attemps to drain, I thought about using the auxilary blade valve which is connected to the output drain to equalize pressure on both sides of the blackwater valve. I did this by closing the...

    New addition!

The best results that I have had house training a puppy is to keep it inside a small box or crate when it the house. The puppy will not soil its bed if he is taken out at appropriate times. Bring it out of its bed (box or crate) whenever you want to play with it and can keep an eye on it...

    HDTV via Satellite

A user on RV.net replied to my email with this. We used a 5 LNB on a Tri-pod while we were full timing. We had to quit because of DW's Moms medical issues. I set it up many times in many different States. I always just used the TV menu and the Zip code where ever we were located. I had...

    HDTV via Satellite

Thanks, Jim What I was thinking about is the Directv's 5 LNB dish mounted on a tripod. I prefer this setup so that I have the option to move it away from the RV to permit avoiding trees.

    HDTV via Satellite

Has anyone had any experience setting up one of the new satellite dishes being used for HDTV. It is a 5 LNB dish being used for Directv (not sure what Dish is using). With Directv, the dish must be aligned to 5 satellites. I would think that after setting the elevation and tilt as specified by a...

    Winterizing doublecheck question

You can remove the anode rod on the hot water heater (1 1/16 socket I believe) and open the pressure release valve for a quick and complete drain. This also provides an oportunity to inspect the rod.

Rog, If I remember correctly and I am not sure that it is in the referenced thread, it was noted that other owner's wheels are closer together on one side. Mine are closer on the off-door side. I believe that it was speculated that it is because of the weight differnce from one side to the...

    Totally Frustrated

I think that when you subtract the pin weight (greater than 2000 lbs.) from the 14,000 GVWR, your axles need to support less than 12,000 lbs. 12,000 divided by 2 axles = 6,000.
