    Elkridge E-292 Roof construction

Planning on installing Solar Panels on my 2016 Elkridge E-292. Spoke to a factory guy who stated the roof on the 2016 E-292 is basically 4ft x roof with aluminum c channel frames with styrofoam in the center and no ribs in between. Have any of you out there installed solar on your E-292? Is...

new solar install - question for those who installed panels on roof

Living in AZ snow load is not a factor approximately 99.9995% of the time. Spent way to much time in the Infantry wet cold tired and hungry without having a choice to willingly subject myself to those conditions at my age. Your advice about the butyl rubber appears to be sound. The solar...

Yes exactly essentially if your distribution box had the converter wired to one breaker the multiplus should provide sufficient current to power the other loads that was on that circuit.

new solar install - question for those who installed panels on roof

My plan for mounting panels on my 2016 Elkridge E-292 Extreme Lite is to use 2 10 foot strut channels on either side of the RV behind the crest line and attach 2 58 x 28 inch 210 or 215 watt panels hooked in series down either side of the trailer and probably drop the wires either down the sink...

My Solar/Battery/Inverter installation in an Elkridge

Re: Battleborn Lithium batteries/Victron 3000 Multiplus install THe reason why I am looking at using 2 SCCs is 2 good 40 Amp SCCs cost considerably less than 1 60 Amp controller. Also I am running 150 AMP bms on the 310 AH Li FEPO4 batteries I will build

Installed New 1300W Solar, 400 Amp Lithium Batteries, 3000 Watt Inverter and Surge protection: Critique welcome

Wonder if the reason only 32 amps rather than 50 Amps of shore power on that one leg is because the other 18 Amps are used by the converter part of the Victron Multi 3000?

My Solar/Battery/Inverter installation in an Elkridge

I am also starting down the Solar System Rabbit Hole. I am building my own 310 AH Lithium FEPO4 Batteries 2 from Chinese Cells 8 of them are supposed to be on the boat. The plan is to mount 4 210 Watt solar panels on the roof 2s and then run each of the series pair to their own 40 AMP SCC and...
