After branson4020 mentioned other plugs on the circuit I thought "the switch." With some further investigation with my meter, I found intermittent continuity between the common and ground on the the wire from the...
Yea, I had the fan completely removed with all three wires open ended, still tripped. Yes there is continuity between the common and ground wires at the electrical panel.
Thanks again.
I did isolate the problem to the Ceiling fan circuit. With either of the common or ground disconnected it won't trip. I removed the fan and and ceiling shroud and pulled the electrical panel to see if the romex was cut, pinched or stapled for the portions that I could get to...
Thanks to all for your inputs. I'v been out of town for a few days so I think I'll dive into the AC power panel this weekend and see what I can find. This is definitely a GFI trip and not an amperage overload trip. Jim, the hot water heater element is fine as we used it last weekend at Wine...
Why would my trailer all of a sudden start tripping my GFI circut in the shop? The trailer is 2 yrs old and just started doing it last week. I've tried 2 different GFI circuts and 2 different shore power cords. Even with all AC breakers off it still trips. Everything works fine on the generator...
I ended up shiming my tank to put the pick up in the low corner and then installing a second vent in the now high corner, so I can get full use of the tank. It made a big difference.
I just pulled the stock vent for the installation of a Fantastic fan. There is a loop of 2x14ga wire white/purple and an end of 2xbell wire white/red. Am I to cut the loop and wire the fan into the loop? Is the bell wire for the thermostat? Any guidance would be helpfull.
Thanks, Bram

If you look at the installation of these tanks, the top of the pick up fitting is 1-1.5 inches from the bottom of the tank, and the bottom of the vent fitting is 1-1.5 inches from the top of the tank. That all means you have 2-3 inches of unusable volume in the tank. Although the tank may have a...
Larry,
It sound like so much fun we have decided to come in on Thurs/12 instead of Fri. Flying Flags has been notified.
We will be bringing a couple of Tri Tips for the Pot Luck.
We are in for the Wine Tasting, now either Fri/Sat/Sun, which ever works for your schedule.
Looking forward to...
Larry,
Sherry and I are still planning on arriving Fri miday and staying till Mon. We're in on the Friday buffet and will bring a dessert or two to the Pot Luck. We would love to join up with whomever is going on the Wine Taste. Looking forward to meeting everyone and thanks for all the...
Dave, Thanks for your interest. It seems to me that a water tank should be designed with the pick up at one low corner and the vent at the opposite high corner. It is counter productive to have the pick up and the vent in the same corner of the tank. My last trailer had a tank that was double...
I was thinking of something similar but make more of a flop tube that will go out into the middle of the tank and sit at the bottom of the sag. My concern is that with low water levels the water would be sloshing around quite a bit while traveling and could bend or kink the flop tube to a...
Thanks Pulltab. I did a little more investigating and found that the tank is in fact tilted to the rear with the pick up in the front. The angle iron mount on the front is welded to the frame about an inch above the bottom rail of the frame. The aft angle iron is screwed to the frame flush with...
I just brought home a 2010 Sundance 2900MK. The water pump will start sucking air with 1/3 still showing on the guage and upon inspection of the tank itself, shows the water level right at the 1/3 sensor. Is there a pick up tube inside the tank that will pick up to the bottom of the "sag"? Or do...
Did you ever find a solution to your problem? I just brought home a 2010 2900MK and have the same problem. It makes sense that there should be a pick up tube on the inside of the tank to get down into the "sag". Mine will stop pumping with 1/3 still showing on the guage and the water actually at...
