So i believe the water is coming in from the rear corner. I am in tge process of cleaning the roof, including slide outs. I am going yo apply lap sealant this weekend. I ordered a roll of dicor seal tite corner seal tape. And i think it may be a good idea to apply some roof sealant tape to...
I will look into this. It rained a lot yesterday, so im going to check inside today for wetness it was dry on monday. But im still going to clean the roof and apply lap sealant.
I noticed this weekend after having lots of rain that I have water getting into my Bunkhouse in my 33CK. I don't see any signs of water on the ceilings, but the floor was wet along the wall/doorway and door and the area where the slide out is. I did not get to do a full inspection of the roof...
Any tips on riding nice from my 2012 Greystone 33CK? I went through and sealed up all the visible access holes as far as I could see. I put peppermint oil on cotton pads all over. I set out glue traps, the popped on one but didn't stick. I'm going to set out additional traps tonight. Thinking I...
I was just looking at your pictures again. Did you not use the brackets to "clamp" it to the frame? If not, was it due to water tanks being in the way? I am installing mine on Saturday, I just pre-assembled everything today.
This part I am familiar with as I have the same camper.
I will be working outside, so I will wait for the snow to melt and I can work on it in the driveway instead of the wet ground I am sure I will have. lol
I just oreded mine today. I was just wondering if there was any reason you installed the front bar they way you did? To me it seems (and this is only from looking at pictures) that the bar would want to twist or bend by being installed on each side of a jack leg. Was there a reason why you...
Warranty terms
I always wondered why you can go and spend lots of money on a car and get a 3 to 7 year warranty from the manufacturer, but you spend $40k- 80,000 dollars on a camper and you get a 1 year warranty.
My 120v and 12v panel is one unit, it is right by the entrance door to the unit. No I do not have any of those devices you mentioned. I do have one of those outlet testers with the lights on it, and that shows fine. My house kitchen gfci and my outside gfci outlets are not the same circuits...
I have used this gfci protected circuit before. I just used it up until I left for my trip on friday. I even ran an extension to my kitchen witch is also gfci and does the same thing. I opened the panel and everything looked normal as far as no chared wires, I even cut and re-strip the...
Ok, so everything works fine on the camper when plugged into a regular outlet.....with no gfci breaker/outlet.... :-) ...still dont know why the outside outlets are now giving me a problem....i think I might look into having a dedicated outlet ran for the camper...
Update
I found that the slide works, battery was in need of charge. Witch explains the low reading. But it was only low on charge because of my convertor shorting out. Breakers marked "GFI, REC, and CONV" trip my shore cable breaker when turned on. Any ideas
I had the slide motor replaced october 2011. going to check a few things tonight with proper testing tools. I spoke with heartland on phone, I hope it works.
I just got back from a trip and everything worked fine, until I left. 2012 33ck, upper bedroom slide wont work (had problems with slide before), indicator panel now shows battery as "F", and when I plug in to my house outlet with shore cable reduced to 20a, it trips my house gfci. Same outlet...
if there is one thing i can say with the greystone, it's that they like making changes.....we looked at a 2011 model in early 2011, placed our order in march 2011. When it came in april, it was a 2012. And a few things were different. The floor pattern, the master bedroom door, dresser/tv...
so i disconnected the battery and hooked it back up, now everything seems to be working fine. I was able to put the slide in and out twice with no problems.....thanks to the great people at heartland. I will still follow up with heartland tomorrow. :)
Just wanted to say thanks to the awesome people at heartland. A service representitive called me this morning to discuss the issue I am having, and is calling the dealer in advance.
I got home and tried the slide out as recommended per heartland. The slide out went out and started to come...
well I have a 2012 greystone 33ck, my master bed room slide out motor crapped out in oct 2011 when putting it away for winter storage. Dealer fixed it under warranty. I just opened up the camper to do the spring cleaning, and when I went to put the same slide back in.....**** thing stopped...
i just had the slide out motor on my 2012 33ck replaced 11-4-11, put the camper away for winter having only tried the slide out once. I just opened up the camper getting it ready for the camping season. All was fine, until i went to slide in the upper "master" bedroom. The slide-out started to...
thanks for those pics, that helps alot. My concern with the aftermarket one is finding one that will not make the tv stick out to far to interfere with the slide. But I will definitely explore my options. I know the 2 wall mounts i have in my house were not cheap either.
I agree with you 100%. If i was running so low, i would have used it on the roof today. But i need what i have left for cleaning my shower pan in the house. I did use it to wash the body. Thanks for the re-assurance of using it on the roof. I will use it when i wash the roof again in a few...
has anyone ever used reliable 1 cleaner? I love the stuff for washing my unit and any other hard to clean spot. It says its safe on rubber roofs, but of course i didnt use it on my 33ck today, wish i had. http://www.reliableproductsonline.com/
That would be great. My 2012 was built april 2011, so the new bracket could be another mid year change. The new 2012's have some difference in design as well, such as a curved ceiling. I emailed heartland customer service the other day, but have gotten no response yet. I will give them a call...
that is pretty much what i had in mind....i know some places (like a uhaul store) will have adjustable(universal) length hitches. That may work also. here is a website for a hitch, http://www.etrailer.com/Specialty-Trailer-Hitches/Curt/13703.html. And a lot if the newer campers have a fold...
what if you picked up a frame mounted hitch and installed it on the camper frame, just like you would do for a car or a truck. Than you can use a receiver mounted bike rack or a cargo carrier that mounts in the receiver......thats the route i am planning.....i have the bike rack already for the...
no problem, thats what we are here for....now what i need to do is find a swing arm bracket (like the one in the outdoor kitchen) for the TV in the living room. I dont mind the stationary one that came with the camper, but it gets a little annoying when sharing the couch to watch the tv. I...
the current run 2012 is all one darker gray with the black water heater door, and black outdoor speakers.....My 2012 33ck (built april 2011) is the 2 tone grey...i like it much better. The new one is to dark.
got a call from heartland and assured me there was no inline fuse. all 3 slides are on one fuse/breaker. checked for power at motor, and got nothing. Calling the dealer in the morning to schedule an appointment. Thats what a warranty is for.....
When I last opened my slides everything was ok, I finished emptying my unit in preps for winter storage. When I tried to retract the upper bedroom slide, it wont move. It doesn't even sound like the motor is trying to spin. The other 2 slides work fine. I check all the breakers and fuses...
i was looking my my 2012 33CK from my second floor window and noticed what looked to be a cap missing. Upon climbing on the roof I found excatly that. All 3 plumbing vents are in place, but this one when i look inside i just see insulation. it is above the master bedroom on the right side of the...
I just changed my WEBER Q100 lp connection so I will be able to use my quick disconnect on my Greystone 33CK. Here are my pics.
