fred it's the fixture that is screwed onto the docking centre face plate. it's a one way spring loaded valve.

we had the same problem with our 08 3795 cyclone, found that the check valve was defective. bought a new one and replaced it myself, lot cheaper than taking it to an rv shop.

No, didn't know anything about it. I mentioned the HOC (as that's where I saw the first article) to the first person I talked to in service and was told that they hadn't heard of it. Go figure.

Re: warrenty We were told the same thing when we purchased our 3795 last September (2nd owner), so we had to buy a new warranty that only had a 4 yr limit. The dealer split the difference with us which helped, (still expensive though).

I received an e-mail from Heartland Cust. Service to give them a call and was then told that our trailer was not registered to us, (second owners) and the stickers were mailed to the original owner??? I questioned the dropping of the axle weight limits as this would now drop the gvw limit on...

just ordered new cap and will overnight it, hope this does the trick.
