We had an issue on our North Trail 21FBS - when we were in the process of filling the fresh water tank we had an issue with water streaming out of the the underbelly - once the tank was full however, no leaking. Dealer found the problem - a faulty seal on the fill tube where it enters the fresh...

So, we've got a 2008 RAM 2500 CTD - what is the most worthwhile modification we can do to the truck without voiding the warranty? Chips, Exhaust?? Want to increase performance and MPG but don't want to run afoul of the warranty.

Camping in the winter? Why Not? Of course it helps if you live in southern Utah! Sand Hollow State Park - Hurricane, Utah. Lots of snow in the background mountains - 55 degrees where we were during the day. Camped in a 21FBS - 25 degrees at night - no problem!

Hitch Pics 1/4'' steel was used - spot welded to each side of frame - mounted a bike carrier on it with two bikes - no problemo

Hitch mount I'll take some pics and send them asap - wasn't really any big deal - just a cross member from one side to the other with the receiver in the middle - came out really nice - hopefully the warranty thing won't come into play since we anticipate extending our warranty next year...

Hitch mount Thanks Irvin - had a 2" receiver mounted on the frame by a local RV dealer who has done lots of these before - will only be putting a 80 lb generator on it so I don't expect any issues but I will monitor any changes in our weight distribution setup!

Would like to mount a hitch receiver on the rear of our new 21FBS for the purpose of carrying our generator - is that something that can be done and if so are there any recommendations that Heartland can make?

Valence Thanks Mike - just curious however, could we order a hard valence that covers the top of the venetian blind assembly? No curtains etc that would hang down the sides - just the piece that runs along the top.

21FBS Valence Thanks for the replies - that's what we figured - maybe the factory rep will chime in as well - not looking for the whole window treatment and curtain deal just the hard valence top that would hide the curtain rod. We thought it a bit odd that they left the curtain rod "naked".

Just picked up our new 2010 21 FBS - what a great TT - only question we have is - should there be a valence over the kitchen sink window and if not can we order one? Thanks
