Magic Chef stove sliding out?

We noticed this weekend that our Magic Chef stove/oven had slid out - away from the wall and sticking out slightly farther than usual, about 1.5 inches.

We were just getting ready to leave for home, and I just pushed hard on the front of the stove and slid it back in to where it should be.

Question: Since I didn't pull any drawers that are just to the right of the stove, is the stove supposed to be secured anywhere? Where should I check?

Hi Al,

Raise the top of the stove, where you can see the burners and feed pipes. Along each side are some holes. Mine has a couple of screws on each side into the wood support under the counter.

See the response below form our production manager. I hope this helps.

Lift the burrner top and there sbould be 4 screws securing it. 2 to the left and 2 to the right. They screw into the counter top sub surface so they most be careful not to angle upward and split the solid surface.

Lifted the burner top and found 3 loose screws. Oh my! Will repair.
