Does landmark offer whisper quiet ac ?
Yes, Landmarks come with the Whisper Quiet A/C. The living room and bedroom ducting is connected so that both units contribute to cooling both rooms. In the evening, if you're watching TV in the living room, you can set the thermostats so that the bedroom A/C does most of the work, leaving the living room quiet.

The Whisper Quiet AC is a joke. Mine sounds like a freight train going across the roof. The dealer looked at it and found no problem, then we had a HVAC guy take a look. He agreed that it was quite loud, but could not find an issue with it. It also does not work efficiently, we can manage a difference of 5 degrees between inside and outside temps, the HVAC guy said that it's a bad design. Our neighbors have the Whisper Quiet AC in theirs...SOB...and it is just a gentle whirring, can barely hear anything. Theirs is also ducted differently, and works very efficiently, no problem keeping temps in the 60's on the hottest days of late. Disappointed with ours.

We are on the other side of this...although I wouldn't say it's whisper quiet, it is considerably more quiet than the A/C in our Bighorn was. In addition, we have no trouble keeping it comfortable and a good temp range inside. We do, however, use our blinds to help keep heat out and it seems the hotter it gets outside the better ours works...no problem keeping the temp down in the mid 70's when it's pushing the mid 90's outside.

From our experience a 20 degree differential is about all anyone can expect from an RV system. ..

We have had no problem in full sun and 2 A/C's. The main ducted unit (15,000 btu) is quiet. The bedroom unit (13,500) is not ducted in our Big Horn, and is louder, but we are fine with it. Cooling may have something to do with our size being 3 - 5 ft shorter (35 ft) than most Landmarks, and we have the dual pane windows and Yeti pkg.

We too have dual pane windows and the extra insulation from the Yeti package....I'm sure that makes a difference too.

Don't know if this is similar - but our rear AC is the one that doesn't work. If it's not too hot, the front AC can keep the coach cool (alone). But the rear AC doesn't keep front or rear cool. We're having a tech look at it. It also doesn't drip at all. Whereas, the front does a great deal...

Ours is ducted the same as the Landmark per Heartland.

Re: whisper ac

Mobile tech came today and did diagnostics check. First thing he noted was it wasn't cooling - when he checked it was only 2 degrees in difference. He's not sure of the problem other than something was done wrong at manufacturing. Dometic had agreed to pay for the service call before it was scheduled. Dometic is now sending a new unit out tomorrow - hope to have this resolved by first of next week.

The new Brisk II ACs are supposed to be quieter should help with the Whisper Quiet system. They definitely have a stronger air flow. Our replacement is the Brisk II. It's also 28 pounds lighter than the regular Brisk Air.

Whisper Quiet works well on our 2013 Landmark Grand Canyon. However there is nothing Quiet about it!
