Since Dave mentioned this.

I have Wells Fargo. With WF if you pay your phone bill with a WF CC you have up to $600 of phone insurance.

[h=1]Cellular Telephone Protection[/h]

[h=2]Get cellular telephone protection at no extra cost[/h]Pay your monthly cellular telephone bill with your Wells Fargo Credit Card and you'll get up to $600 protection (subject to a $25 deductible) against covered damage or theft at no cost.1

1. Protection is subject to a $25 deductible and maximum benefit limit of $600 per occurrence. Protection covers cellular telephones billed to your Wells Fargo Consumer Credit Card, subject to a maximum of two claims, per twelve-month period, per Wells Fargo Consumer Credit Card account number. Protection covers the primary line and up to the first three additional lines listed on your provider’s monthly statement. Cellular telephones that are stolen or damaged are protected. This protection is only available when cellular phone bills are paid from your Wells Fargo Consumer Credit Card. The coverage does not apply if the cellular phone bill is paid from a Wells Fargo Debit Card, Wells Fargo Business Credit Card or from the card that is linked to a Line of Credit. This benefit does not cover cellular telephones that are lost. Cellular telephone protection coverage begins the first day of the calendar month following your first cellular telephone billing on your Wells Fargo Consumer Credit Card and remains in effect when you continue to charge your monthly cellular telephone bill to your Wells Fargo Consumer Credit Card. This protection may not be equivalent to or better than other applicable coverage you may have presently or in the future, such as your homeowner's or automobile insurance policies, or through a plan provided through the seller of the telephone. Read all the coverage benefits and exclusions (PDF)* for this protection.

Thanks for the answers. Since Millenicom sold out i had to set up something. My phones are with At&t. Cost to much to switch. They gave me 30 GB for $97 per month. Total with two phones and an ipad is $197 per month

Why do you use a router? Does a router allow you to use multiple devices while only paying for one line, the router?

I use a router because I needed some Ethernet ports and the router provides that.

The router I use (WiFi Ranger) also gives me the ability to choose from available WiFi networks and create my own Hot Spot that all WiFi devices in my RV (phones, laptops etc) can access.

Great. How did you get 30GB for $97.00. It lists for double that.

Thanks for the response Jim. I know nothing about this and am struggling to understand what I will need to use my computer for work when I am traveling. You have a router, so you don't need a hotspot like Verizon jet pack to access the Internet? I apologize for my tech ignorance and appreciate any education you can pass on.

First you need Internet Service from someone. Then you need to make it available to you computers and other devices by WiFi (wireless Ethernet) or wired Ethernet device.

A MiFi hotspot is internet service from a provider (Verizon, ATT, etc) combined with a WiFi access point. Half of the MiFi Hotspot is talking to the provider (Verison) and providing internet access. The other half (inside) of the MiFi Hotspot is taking that internet service and making it available via WiFi. Two devices in one small package.
